“From start to finish this was a superb experience. Ordering was easy and the wood was well priced, delivery was so good, we were kept updated throughout the process and the driver was super helpful. The hornbeam wood is of lovely quality and burns so well. Giving off so much more heat than the wood we purchased locally, to get us started when the stove was fitted a few weeks ago. Could not recommend highly enough. Will definately recommend and use again.”

“Love the product. The delivery charge specifically stated there would be 'Tractor' capability. - there wasn't - only a fixed lorry with a ramp.”

“Ordered BIRCH CRATE KILN DRIED LOGS 20 Oct 2021, received 29 Oct. Delivery driver kindly moved it on his pallet truck round to the back of the house. Wood was on a large pallet, well wrapped in plastic sheeting, like strong cling film. The wood is good quality, clean, and free from bits and insects. It's all in lengths around 10 inches so ideal for my stove. Burns nicely. Would certainly buy from this supplier again.”

“Wood great, delivery problematic due to shingle drive. Driver very unhelpful so my son had push stack into better position. Please more warning so pebbles can be swept aside, and please a different driver.”

“Usually buy my logs from LWC. Their logs are always good, nice and dry and burn well so many thanks guys 😀”

“The wood is of reasonable quality. Just the local delivery price £60.00 is a bit pricey unless you are making a large order.”

“The wood is very good but unfortunately in the past two pallets I’ve ordered there has been a lot of very thin pieces of wood. Also I do not know when my delivery is going to be, I only get a phone call on the day to tell me they are 10 or 20 minutes away which really isn’t acceptable. One time the carrier would ring me to check what day for my delivery”

“I have used LWC for some years and would normally award 5*. However this time from one pallet, I sorted out 3 large bags of what I can only call kindling wood (see photo of 1 bag). This may well be a supplier problem rather than LWC, but the fact remains that the wood burns very quickly.”

“The large crate of Oak Timber we perched from you was not to the standards that your advertising stated, Nottinghamshire Trading Standards are very interested in my case, hence I won't be placing any order from you again”

“Order arrived promptly and the logs give off good heat and leave very little ash, pleased with our purchase.Would recommend them to anyone with open fires or stoves.”

“The wood is always of good quality. I usually choose ash which burns consistently with high heat output. Having used Luxury Wood Co for a number of years I can highly recommend the quality and the level of service, delivery has been faultless. Well done!”

“We have been buying large crates of logs from The Luxury Wood Company since 2017 and they have always been excellent until this year. Our latest purchase of Kiln Dried Oak is very poor and below the standard shown on the website. This is their reponse... "We are very sorry for the negative experience you're having and all inconvenience caused. It is very rare but does happen on occasion. We will chase this up and see what we can do to prevent such issues in future. In the meantime we would like to offer you £30 OFF your next order with us. Please let us know if that would be of use and we will create a voucher to this amount for you." Many of the logs are very thin and short and therefore burn quickly. We cannot return them as we cannot load up the pallet. We consider this load of logs very poor value at £289.95.”

“The logs are always super dry and the delivery is fast and convenient. It would be useful if the respective products had a cost per 1000kg and nominal heat per kwh so the respective value of products can be assessed.”

“This is our first purchase as was recommended by the man who installed our new log burner. We are very pleased with the wood that has arrived and the burn is fantastic, as it is nice and long and not that smokey. Will purchase from this complany again.”
