“The wood is of reasonable quality. Just the local delivery price £60.00 is a bit pricey unless you are making a large order.”

“The wood is very good but unfortunately in the past two pallets I’ve ordered there has been a lot of very thin pieces of wood. Also I do not know when my delivery is going to be, I only get a phone call on the day to tell me they are 10 or 20 minutes away which really isn’t acceptable. One time the carrier would ring me to check what day for my delivery”

“I have used LWC for some years and would normally award 5*. However this time from one pallet, I sorted out 3 large bags of what I can only call kindling wood (see photo of 1 bag). This may well be a supplier problem rather than LWC, but the fact remains that the wood burns very quickly.”

“The wood is always of good quality. I usually choose ash which burns consistently with high heat output. Having used Luxury Wood Co for a number of years I can highly recommend the quality and the level of service, delivery has been faultless. Well done!”

“We have been buying large crates of logs from The Luxury Wood Company since 2017 and they have always been excellent until this year. Our latest purchase of Kiln Dried Oak is very poor and below the standard shown on the website. This is their reponse... "We are very sorry for the negative experience you're having and all inconvenience caused. It is very rare but does happen on occasion. We will chase this up and see what we can do to prevent such issues in future. In the meantime we would like to offer you £30 OFF your next order with us. Please let us know if that would be of use and we will create a voucher to this amount for you." Many of the logs are very thin and short and therefore burn quickly. We cannot return them as we cannot load up the pallet. We consider this load of logs very poor value at £289.95.”

“The logs are always super dry and the delivery is fast and convenient. It would be useful if the respective products had a cost per 1000kg and nominal heat per kwh so the respective value of products can be assessed.”
