“Delivery awful communication,I was told pm them rang me to change to 11 am giving me very little notice. We were at work in the morning They said they would deliver still and they agreed to put the boards behind back gate ,I even gave them the gate code . The driver took no notice of those instructions and just dumped them at the top of the drive. The Delivery service very poor and very expensive”

“The wood was quickly delivered and the delivery company had an electric trolley which meant we were able to manoeuvre the logs to the right position. This delivery of logs had a good range of sizes unlike the last on which was mostly small sized logs”

“Good delivery ( free) quality product (Ash) correct moisture, well packaged. some negatives on specified pallet dim (all sizes) H 1.57 x W 1.18 x D 0.75 (actual) this is misleading in terms of volume supplied.”

“I am a long-standing customer of Luxury Wood and have always been very satisfied with the goods and service I have received. The ash logs burn beautifully and are a perfect size for my log burner. Delivery is always on time and the log crate is delivered via hand forklift directly intlo my garage for storage. No restacking of logs required, just use direct from the crate and the crate makes perfect kindling for the next batch.”

“From start to finish this was a superb experience. Ordering was easy and the wood was well priced, delivery was so good, we were kept updated throughout the process and the driver was super helpful. The hornbeam wood is of lovely quality and burns so well. Giving off so much more heat than the wood we purchased locally, to get us started when the stove was fitted a few weeks ago. Could not recommend highly enough. Will definately recommend and use again.”

“Ordered BIRCH CRATE KILN DRIED LOGS 20 Oct 2021, received 29 Oct. Delivery driver kindly moved it on his pallet truck round to the back of the house. Wood was on a large pallet, well wrapped in plastic sheeting, like strong cling film. The wood is good quality, clean, and free from bits and insects. It's all in lengths around 10 inches so ideal for my stove. Burns nicely. Would certainly buy from this supplier again.”

“Wood great, delivery problematic due to shingle drive. Driver very unhelpful so my son had push stack into better position. Please more warning so pebbles can be swept aside, and please a different driver.”

“The wood is very good but unfortunately in the past two pallets I’ve ordered there has been a lot of very thin pieces of wood. Also I do not know when my delivery is going to be, I only get a phone call on the day to tell me they are 10 or 20 minutes away which really isn’t acceptable. One time the carrier would ring me to check what day for my delivery”

“I have used LWC for some years and would normally award 5*. However this time from one pallet, I sorted out 3 large bags of what I can only call kindling wood (see photo of 1 bag). This may well be a supplier problem rather than LWC, but the fact remains that the wood burns very quickly.”
