“I usually order a jumbo crate of kiln dried logs once per year which keeps us going over winter. They are always bone dry, and good quality. As it was raining, I arranged with the delivery company to hold back half a week so it would be dry when unloading and stacking. One year I had the 70 nets, and while convenient to carry, they didn't stack as well - and then I had the dilemma of working out which recycle method to use for the nets... With the jumbo crate, I also have the extra benefit of kindling, made from the pallet and sides. Easy ordering and delivery on stacker truck right where I want.”

“I have tried many wood suppliers and The Luxury Wood Company are unbeatable. The kiln dried Ash is the best wood available and the very fast service is perfect. The haulage company they use are also superb with very helpful drivers. Their prices are also unbeatable.”

“never had a problem in any way. always helpful service and always quality product. if any i would say that it would be nice to get free delivery within ALL of UK if your repeat customer for mor than 3(?) years or so.either way i will still order my wood while i can ( pensioner). so thank you for a good product and service”

“Third delivery of netted logs from Luxury Wood Co. As before excellent quality, never seen such dry wood from anywhere else and top class delivery with phone calls from the delivery company to agree delivery - even down to a call from the driver 10 minutes before delivery to ensure all ok. We will be back but not for a while now !!!”

“No problem with the product. No problem with the delivery - except the pallet. The pallet is of very 'thin' timber and virtually collapses when being 'trolleyed' off the lorry. Makes the task very difficult for the driver.”

“We have used luxury wood on a few occasions now over the last couple of years and have always found them to be competitive in price, high quality products and efficient in processing orders. The only slight criticism i would have is regarding delivery. The last two deliveries have just turned up unannounced. It would be useful to have a delivery date and time slot as DPD do. But i guess this is more down to the delivery courier than Luxury Wood themselves. It would just make receiving the delivery easier, particularly as they tend to be large and bulky.”

“Product is ok - although the price of wood pellets has not responded to the huge drop in price of alternative fuels. Main problem is with delivery - I am a domestic user (approx. 2 tons per month). The truck delivery is not efficient and could be improved significantly by the simple use of electric powered pallet trolleys. All of the drivers are dissatisfied with this aspect of their job and the truck operator must be sailing very close to the wind on health and safety issues.”

“Ordered a jumbo crate, & it was delivered very quickly. Driver contacted me prior to arriving to give me a rough time when he was expecting to get to my address. He was more than helpful. The logs were very dry and all cut & split to go straight into my logburner. Will definitely reorder when more is needed. Thank You John”
