“Great price and quick delivery. The product is what I expected - good heat and much longer than wood. And neighbours tell me the aroma is great! Great comms from the delivery firm - called on the day, but were let down by a pretty miserable delivery driver, reluctant to reverse up the drive, reluctant to move pallet very far inside driveway and then managed to break pallet trying to push instead of pull! Overall still an excellent product and service.”

“Good quality wood, well packed. A good crate - easy to get into, providing just enough kindling. Some other companies go for massively over-engineered crates with too much packing wood to get rid of. Only criticism - a lot of the wood pieces were tint, not much more than kindling”

“Ordered wood for my elderly mum (she’s 80) and was told to expect it on a certain day between certain times so she waited in but it didn’t arrive, no phone call to say why. Then delivery turned up at 7.30 am the next say, no prior warning, while she was having a shower. She had to get out, dripping wet, to take the delivery. As well as the obvious issues, that time in the morning is too early to make deliveries especially unannounced.”

“We have tried quite a few kiln-dried firewood companies and had the best experience with Luxury Wood: their prices are competitive, the wood is beautifully dry, smells nice and burns well. Highly recommended!”

“The wood is very good quality, but the delivery awful. After 10 days I phoned and was given the number of the local delivery company to phone myself. They assured me the wood would be delivered that afternoon. It wasn’t. Phoned again and told driver couldn’t fit me in, but nobody told me. This was a Friday, so had to wait until Monday, 13 days after ordering. I had cancelled important things to take delivery. Not good.”

On this occasion we feel let down by the depot and a member of our team is already in contact with the depot in order to investigate that for you.
