“Excellent product at reasonable price. Delivery driver went the extra mile by putting pallet very near storage, as access was awkward. Driver did not call ahead as requested. Delivery much longer than 3-5 days mentioned on web site.”

“Wood arrived nicely dry and clean. Also was neatly packed, but I wish it was wrapped more eco friendly. This time I chose Ash which burns brightly but not, I feel, as hot as Beech. I would also have liked more notification of delivery date/time rather than on the day.”

“Kiln dried Birch Wonderful deli service the pallet delivered directly to the door. The pallet of timber is packed so tightly ( unlike builders bags) Ensuring no wasted space . The timber is also cut to perfect length for my WoodBurner . The birch has been kiln dried ( moisture levels below 20 %) and burns beautifully well with a wonderful aroma .”

“First time purchase from the luxury wood company for us (giant crate of kiln dried ash) after years of bulk bag purchases of seasoned wood from various other suppliers which we then continued to season at home for 12 months. Very impressed with the quality of the kiln dried ash in comparison as averaging approx 2X burn time. We will definitely buy again when we need some more but probably won’t need to buy as regularly as we did before 🔥🪵🔥 Delivery company were great too - crate was carefully positioned precisely where we wanted it to be, Ideal.”

“Ordered the standard pallet of wood, there is a few large pieces but the rest looks great, cut to a good size. Requested a specific date and it was delivered on that date. Confirmation was made so no issues.”

“Ordered logs, kindling and a gas lighter, received email saying no kindling in stock about week after order! Options money back or deliver when in stock, approx 2 weeks, said OK, after 3 weeks nearly heard nothing about logs!!! Eventually got logs, no notifications! And still no kindling or heard anything!! But my money taken when I placed order!! How about letting me know what's happening! , normally you've been great”

“Have used this company many time getting full crates of logs etc. This time I had a mixed load and I don't think it was up to the usual standard. The 1/2 crate of logs was not as full as it usually is and the heat logs although give out a lot of heat were a disaster in our CB2 Brunel. They are not safe to use on an open fire unless its outside! The smokeless coal is fab but I do find the 20kg bags difficult as I'm a bit decrepit! Despite all this I will use them again as the full crates of oak, ash and birch logs are excellent!”

“Excellent quality, pallet was very tightly packed and logs were very even sizes. My only complaint is the delivery is always a nightmare as our drive slopes very gently and is gravel so the driver can’t get the pallet off if he’s on the drive and can’t drag it onto the drive if he offloads on the road a Hyab crane delivery would be much simpler!”

“We’ve had quite a few deliveries from you and have always been very happy with your service and product but the last one was absolutely shocking. Firstly the delivery driver couldn’t get the pallet off his wagon and then just decided to dump it just (and I mean just) on the pavement completely blocking my entire drive. When I rang to complain as my wife and my 3 children had to hand ball the logs down my drive at about 6.30 in the dark as I had been called away with work you didn’t seem to care at all and said next time put a note on the order to say you need a lifter on the delivery. Customer service was none existent in my opinion”

“The wood is great but the delivery continues to be a problem. The palletised loads are never delivered on an appropriate vehicle. This time the tail lift limit was 600kg so the pallet got stuck on the tail lift. We had to decant a quarter of the wood to get it off. The driver also didn't have a powered pump truck so he couldn't move the wood properly once off the vehicle. I have now had about 20 pallets of wood over the last 2 years and it has never been delivered without incident.”

“Excellent service. Although initially informed that my order may be delayed, I explained that I had run out of wood so they treated me as a priority instead. Due to confined space upon delivery, the driver even helped me handball the sacks to the rear of the building. Great service”

“Ordered after trying other suppliers & then seeing a pallet from The Luxury Wood Company at my daughter's, who now orders from them regularly. She had been recommended to buy from them after another family member said what great wood they supplied. I'm really pleased with the quality of the wood itself, it burns consistently well and gives out a much greater amount of heat per standard log compared to previous supplier. Also couldn't fault customer service & delivery. The wood was extremely well packed on a sturdy, waterproofed pallet & delivery driver was really helpful in dropping the pallet where we needed it. I'll be joining other family members in making The Luxury Wood Company my regular supplier.”
