“We have purchased wood pellets several times all 65 x 15kg pallets. Your service is very good, the packaging is good and the delivery prompt. Prices are good. The tail lift of one of the vehicles was a bit small and it was difficult for the driver to get the 1 tonne pallets off the tail lift on one occasion. The wood pellets you offer keep changing. Firstly we bought AKZ which you stopped doing, then Granulta which you stopped doing; now we are buying KG. Your web site does not give a lot of information on the different pellets so it is not easy to know how they compare in energy value, dust, ash etc. However, all the pellets so far have been good quality so no complaints about what we have bought.”

“The wood is of excellent quality and burns well. It comes in medium sized sacks which makes it easy to carry into the house. Delivery was prompt and they don't take the money until after delivery.”

“Ash logs are really good value, and getting them in nets means it's easier to unload and store a large order. I'm assured that all Luxury Wood Co hardwoods are ash, though this is not made clear on the website. Anyway, ash burns slow and hot, which is just what you want, and is a lot better that the hardwood logs I'd been getting from other sites.”

“Quality of logs and peat look excellent although still to try them out as it is still summer but good time to buy out of season, very good price, customer service excellent too very helpfull chasing up the courier service, took 10 days to be delivered but to be honest I was not in a hurry, delivery lorry was 40ft long and had to dump everything at the bottom of the drive as the driver was not keen to attempt reversing up the drive. It has been done before with larger lorries but I can understand the issues so was kinda expecting it. As it was June, no problem barrowing them into the garage. I will order again but would be great to have there own lorry with a hydaulic crane on the back. The lorry from my local builders merchant has one and has no problem getting up the drive, it can lift of pallets of heavy material in two minutes right where you want them.”

“Can't fault the quality of the wood, it's fantastic. Do have a problem however with the local delivery firms who have twice now left a large crate of wood in the most awkward of places that has necessitated me having to manually unload and move to our wood store!”

Dear Tim, we will write to you today. Our service is officially kerbside but there is usually scope to place the pallet in a position of your choosing if the surface is flat and not sloped

“Good service and well priced. The bags are a bit thin and several of them arrive with slight damage and its also too easy for them to get damaged while in storage. Improve the bag quality and it would deserve a 5*.”

“The wood is excellent and well sized and packed The delivery company used were brilliant .I have a long very steep drive to my house but the delivery man had a motorised device that was able to drop the pallet off right at the top of the drive near the place needed.”

“THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER WE ORDERED NETS NOT BIG MASSIVE BAGS, WHEN THE DELIVERY DRIVER CAME THEY WERE STACKED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER ,AND I HAD TO HELP THE DRIVER LIFT THE PALLET OFF AS HE HAD NO WAY OF GETTING OUR PALLET, THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AND NORMALLY MY WIFE IS IN AND SHE WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LIFT THE PALLET, THE DRIVER STATED THAT YOURSELVES WERE AT FAULT FOR USING 2 PALLET INSTEAD OF 1 BIG PALLET WHICH IS HOW MY WOOD HAS COME IN THE PAST. AS A COMPANY I THINK YOU ARE GREAT, GREAT WOOD AND GOOD PRICE, BUT YOUR COURIER SERVICE LET'S YOU DOWN WHEN THE CUSTOMER HAS TO HELP HE DRIVER AND HAS THEN HURT HIS BACK. NORMALLY I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOURSELVES A 5 STARR BUT THIS TIME IVE GIVEN YOU A 2 STARR DUE TO A BACK INJURY CAUSED BY HELPING YOUR DRIVER WHO ASKED FOR HELP!”

“I have had 2 deliveries of 70 bags. Before the 2nd I requested a smaller lorry but a 7 ton arrived which necessitated a lengthy performance again reversing up an awkward drive. The drive is gravel and therefore the driver asked again for a solid base to lower the pallet onto. The pallet was broken and tipping sideways so my husband and I had to help the driver counterbalance it. This happened with the first delivery and the driver had to stack the logs on the tail gate and I carried and re stacked from there. Not ideal. A sheet of plywood could be carried on the lorry for the pallet to be lowered onto! The logs are perfect, just a pity the delivery service is poor.”

“Pellets good price. Arrived on time. Bags survived well. Not burnt any yet but the calorific rating on the bags is good and they smell fine while in storage. ( We have had pellets from other suppliers and distributors and they smell awful. makes one wonder what they have put in them.) R.”
