“Wood is reasonably priced, no issues there. But, the delivery is terrible. They use couriers for nearly 1 ton crates of firewood that normally handle fridges. I had to help them get it off the lorry and down the drive and it was bloody dangerous for both the poor guy delivering and me with a ton crate teetering on a pallet trolley. A delivery like this must be with a lorry with a small crane. It's only a matter of time till someone gets hurt it they don't change the delivery method.”

“Placed an order for a crate of kiln dried ash to take advantage of the early bird offer. After ordering I looked at reviews and was shocked to see the negative reviews with respect to the delivery agents. I needn't have worried though, our driver was very good and we experienced no problems at all, as with all our previous orders.”

“The ash wood that I have came in nets which for me is very handy due to the fact that I live on a street with rather steep slop this is our second purchase and from the looks it is up to the quality of the first order, the delivery driver again was the same man and he was extremely helpful using his pallet truck he placed it at the bottom of my drive again which is on a slope I have no problem in recommending this company long may the quality continue”

“Beware the shrinking crate size. Down by about 12% internal dimensions but the price is similar. This was our fourth or fifth order with the luxury wood company. We were surprised to find the crate was smaller (although it is in the small print on the website). Jumbo crates have become Full crates and shrunk.”

Dear customer, I went ahead and checked the orders you have made with us and last year's order was for a different product. The wood type and size both are different to the product you purchased this year. I have emailed you with some information regarding that, hoping that will clear out the misunderstanding with the crate size.

“Wood is great but none of the 5 deliveries have been with a 7.5t lorry always 18.0t despite specifying on the website and being on the invoice.”

“Delivery was as requested on a day the weather was predicted to be dry. Came on time and all put undercover ok. There was a bit more small stuff in the inside layer of the crate than I would have liked and feel that maybe some of it should have been sold off as kindling. Overall I am pleased with the wood and will probably get more next year.”

“Order expedited quickly and efficiently. Have used Luxury Wood before and had no problems. Wood (Ash) was an excellent burn, but have not started using of this months delivery. Office staff are very helpful if one needs to speak with them. They kept me notified of delivery times and date. Delivery driver equally efficient, helpful and pleasant. I will use Luxury Wood again and also recommend them.”

“I have been a customer for many years and have always found your Kiln Dried Logs very good. Not only do they burn for longer at a higher heat, but also do not leave residue in the chimney. The delivery service is also excellent.”
