“This pallet was in no way as good Sam quality as times before. A little damper, and generally felt of lower quality. I'm sure it is aberant however and will continue to use them.”

“An effective and easy way to order logs. I order the bags as this makes it easy to carry loads into the house and quick to stack in my garage. I was disappointed to find that the logs are now a good inch shorter than the previous loads. When you buy 50 bags thats quite a lot less wood!”

“Exactly as described - logs all cut in uniform manner and well packed. Fast delivery and friendly helpful delivery provider. Will use LWC again and would recommend them to anyone requiring a premium quality product.”

“Ordered half crate of wood and half peat. £240. Also a temperature gauge for the wood burner. The ordering and delivery was good. The wood was cut into good sizes. Peat is fine, temperature gauge works. However the wood gives out hardly any heat (I have the temp gauge so I know this is a fact) and takes ages to light. It can't get to temperature to burn either efficiently. I'm having to spend a fortune on kindling. It seems the wood is damp. It may have been stored outside. Not impressed at all, it's a lot of money to me and as I have no heating apart from my wood burner in the lounge I'm freezing and I have had my two year old grandchild staying.”

“Normally the wood from this company is very good and we have used them often however this time there were a couple of issues. 1.A lot of the logs were on the large side the lenghts were fine but they were very chunky. 2. Some of the logs hissed when put on the fire (not all but a fair number) this suggest that they were damp. It may of been our imagination but this batch is not burnibng as hot as usual”

“The wood itself is excellent quality but the problem lies with delivery. I had a conversation with Dayana at The Luxury Wood Company and was assured that my delivery would come on a 7.5 ton lorry so that it would be able to get access to the house. The delivery came on a 28 ton lorry which meant manhandling, on a palette truck, the large crate of logs down the driveway. When I spoke to the driver (really helpful woman from Karl King Transport) she said they didn't have any small lorries in their fleet so complete lack of communication between LWC and the haulage company.”

“I purchase a mix of composite logs and peat, delivery was fast and efficient with the driver very good at point of delivery. Product: the logs are very good, the heat is excellent, the residue ask is fine and goes onto the garden. The peat, briquettes which I'm disappointed with, they burn ok but there is no peat aroma I was expecting, arr well. Will probably order again for autumn. Tom Holland”

“I have bought a number of the full crates of logs from Luxury Wood and would say that the quality of the wood is very good. However I bought the oak crate this time and whilst the wood is dry and very well stacked in the crate there does appear to be lots of smaller pieces than I would normally expect - the ash crates are excellent by comparison - this is slightly disappointing as oak is the the most expensive of the wood on offer. Delivery driver, as always, was excellent although why the company sent a truck with a tailgate that wasn't strong enough to unload the whole pallet beats me. We had to unload quite a few logs by hand to ensure the tailgate didn't collapse!!!! :-)) I will purchase from Luxury Wood again but prior to delivery..........”

“Good service and the wood is nice and dry but the wood was rather small. So few substantial pieces that I feel I've purchased a huge quantity of kindling. I appreciate a company that packs out the gaps with the smaller pieces but this was really lacking.”

“Sorry, but this time we got a bad palette. Last time the wood was clean, very dry and all same sizes. This one has so many very small logs, they are full of dirt and they don't catch fire as the last we had. I hope I will not get another one like this. If yes I will look for another supplier. Sorry but this time we are not happy.”

“Delivered a well packed pallet of logs in good time. Although I had bought the full oak log pallet there were clearly a number of other wood types within the pallet. I'll probably not get the oak pallet next time.”

“Ease of ordering. Good delivery. However many of the logs now are quite large compared to how they used to be. Now I have to split some to make them efficient and fit the stove”
