“Everything as expected apart from the delivery company just turned up without scheduling a delivery date/time. Fortunately I was in.”

“Product very good as always however delivery not so good. I hadn't heard anything since placing my order so rang to see if I could get a date, to be told it would be delivered that day. As it turned out it was delivered within 30 minutes of making my call which was good because I was not going to be in that afternoon. Called to say received but you should emphasise that your transport people should let your clients know and agree proposed delivery dates.”

“Delivery was quick and professional. You get a mixed bunch with the Oak sleepers but generally good quality and will look even better when planed and sanded.”

“The wood is great but there is no advised delivery unless you count 20 minutes notice. Luxury wood insist it should be a booked delivery but haulier just turn up. Only way to know it’s coming is to phone luxury wood each day until the haulier is making delivery.”

“I have ordered 15 large pallets of either ash or oak logs since 2018 so they must be doing something right! Generally the wood is of good quality, although they do let themselves down from time to time with some logs being extremely lightweight and lacking substance. Prices are reasonable, the wood is extremely dry and normally cut to a good size. The pallet is often filled to the top but not always - my most recent delivery was about 6" below the top of the pallet. The delivery drivers have been unfailingly helpful and polite.”

“Just turned up with the full pallet of logs with no prior warning or delivery booking by telephone! - (luckily we were in). Was our delivery on time? - Who knows what time? No advance warning!”

“Used Luxury Wood due to the very competitive pricing. Delivery was reasonably quick although using general transport (not dedicated) and the poor delivery driver struggled to get the Pallet on the tail-lift. Would have been 5 stars except quite a lot of the logs were quite small thickness compared to those I sourced elsewhere earlier in the season - will have to use those for kindling.”

“Delivery was excellent with a very helpful driver. Sleepers are slightly dissapointing. Some are very over size (10mm all round) which makes trying to build a wall difficult. A far few also still have bark on and are not a uniform shape because of it.”

“Nice oak sleepers, which I have built a garden dining table and benches from. Only 2 negatives: 1. I was disappointed with the high delivery cost (which nearly doubled the cost of the speakers, and 2. one of the sleepers is so warped it was unusable. I had to make the table narrower than planned and not use the warped sleeper.”
