I have ordered wood from LWC for several years and with a couple of minor blips have received excellent service. This time I placed an order and received confirmation, but that was all. A week passed and no communication (usually receive a delivery date within a day or so). Next working day I was in a meeting and received a call to say that the driver was outside my house trying to deliver my wood. I had not had any notification of this, but the driver was very understanding and left the wood where I asked him to.
Emailed customer services who were very apologetic, and blamed the delivery company, but in the past notification was always sent from LWC, not the delivery company.
I do hope this is not an indication of usually high standards being lowered.
