“Many people who have wood fires live in the country where there are narrow lanes. The pallets are delivered by a 3rd party, along with many other good. They use large non-artic trucks that cannot navigate lanes. Our pallet was already falling to pieces before it came off the lorry and their had trolley couldn’t raise it. Thankfully a friend was visiting and the three us (including the grumpy driver) moved the collapsing pallet the short distance to the garage. This was not where we wanted it but the driver couldn't turn into our driveway, though a 12 wheeler had manged it for other deliveries of goods. The wood is good but if you can’t get it to where you need it what’s the point. Spent the next two days moving to the required location.”

“Excellent service, Excellent delivery service, Driver very friendly and helpful. The quality of the wood is first class. Take the advice of luxury wood if you have an uneven or gravel drive and order netted bags. I ordered netted bags and saved myself a lot of work. I will definitely order from The Luxury Wood Company again.”

“Requested an early deliver which happened with no problems. Only one bag had a very small teart, my last delivery from another company had approx. 25 torn bags (from a 6 ton delivery of 15kg bags. The KG pellets so far appear to be good. A lot less dust than from my last delivery from the other company, Id use Luxuury Wood Company again.”

“Purchased the jumbo crate of ash logs, delivery was made within stated schedule, the driver was very friendly and put the crate where we asked without any problems. The logs look the best we have had and will definitely be buying more .”

“Good delivery, driver very friendly and helpful, put the logs just where I wanted them, thank you. I haven't tried burning any logs yet as its only th e beginning of September so I can't comment on that part of the order. The reason I gave 4 not 5 is because the picture shows a lady standing by the jumbo crate and I guess she must be tiny, slightly disappointed by the size and won't know how well they last until we use them. All in all a good service. Thank you very much”

“Ordered a large crate of kiln dried ash. Delivery came on expected day, but driver had been told I'd be out and to leave it on the drive, I have no idea where this info came from. I saw him arrive and was able to have it placed where I wanted in my garage. There is not much room and the driver was very helpful and went to a lot of trouble to help me place it inch-perfect. These pallets are immensely dangerous to move, it nearly toppled over twice as we were moving it, despite being on flat tarmac. I would happily pay up front and have it delivered in two halves a few months apart. Wood looks very good. As for the amount, the outer dimensions do just about match what is stated (I measure 170x117x97), but I think they should give internal measurements too so people can compare volumes of actual wood. The photos also need updating, they look far taller in the photos than they actually are.”

“No phone call to agree delivery day was made by the local distribution centre (Premier Logistics). Instead, delivery turned up unannounced 3 days earlier than expected. Luckily there was someone in to take delivery. Driver had minimal experience of handling a pallet of pellets, and truck tailgate lift could not handle the 1 tonne load.”

“The wood is great as always. The last couple of deliveries have arrived in a truck that was small enough so that the driver, who was helpful and friendly, could back into our property and off load the jumbo crate close to our log store. This makes such a difference as in earlier deliveries an artic truck could only remain in our lane and being some way from the log store meant a great deal more work to transfer the logs.”

“The product seems good, even sized logs, reasonably clean to handle, but not enough of it. The lengths of the pallet on delivery are, on each dimension, a few centimetres less than advertised. This adds up so that instead of almost two cubic metres the volume is only about one and a half cubic metres. Buyer beware!”

“I ordered some fine grade bark to put around my plants over the top of weed membrane . It looks great , smells nice . It was delivered within a few days . I'm very happy with the service I received and would highly recommend The Luxury Wood Company.”
