“The compost I ordered from The Luxury Wood Company was, indeed, luxurious. I've had lumpier flour! The price was really competitive, postage and packaging was free, delivery was quick and on time and my plants are thriving. I highly recommend this company.”

“We had the delivery booked by the supplier and waited in and it didnt turn up, we had another date and waited in and it didnt turn up, we then had to wait in again another day it turned up, the creats that are being used nowe are 25% smaller than the two previous orders we have had from them and the customer services said that it was reflected in the price , this isnt true. we were offered £30 pounds compensation for the missed deliveries but it was on a future order so we feel like we are now being blackmailed to get our compensation this is on top of the 3 wasted days we have already had. really poor customer service, and smaller size creates NOT GOOD.”

“Ordering and delivery was very swift, wood burns nicely, lovely quality ash. The only disappointment was that I expected the crate to be full to the very top which it wasn't, at least 2 more layers of wood could have been added.”

“THE COMPANY HAVE SNEAKILY MADE CRATES SMALLER WILL PROBABLY NOT NOW USE”

Dear Dave, We have changed the size of the crates back in summer 2016, with that we have decreased the price and changed the name of the product. This was needed as residential deliveries require small lorries - 7.5T, however the tail lift of these vehicles could hardly take the weight of our previous crate causing a lot of troubles with deliveries and compromising health and safety regulations. We have changed the size to a more suitable and safe for deliveries crate and decreased the price to match the change. We do hope that you will understand our reasoning and remain our customer. I have contacted you over an email to further explain this.

“Arrived 4 days after placing order. Contacted promptly by the delivery company to agree the delivery date. Logs were well packed & weather protected on the pallet and the driver was able to wheel it into my garage saving the rush of unpacking.”

“The wood we received this time round is a poor quality compared to the previous orders. The wood puts off a lot of smoke and doesn't burn effectivlty. Previous orders have been fantastic. Disappointed”

“Small vehicles used for delivery up our narrow lane. The bigger bags used for 10 kg of pellets make stacks more stable and the bags are better to reuse (There isn't a recycling facility in our area for them). The local depot of the firm used to deliver the pallets is very obliging.”
