“This is the second time I have used Stone Deals, first for a conservatory five years ago and now for an extension to the house. The sales staff could not be more helpful, the product is excellent quality and you will not find a better price anywhere. I live in Devon and to receive next day delivery is brilliant. Cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“Appalled by stone deals attitude ,rude , unhelpful and the manageress a miss or Mrs Patel was completely out of her depth when dealing with customer complaints and overall was pretty clueless. We paid £409 for 50 limestone tiles the courier company delivered on the day they said they would. The pallet of tiles were badly stacked and after a struggle to get the pallet off the lorry I started to have a look at the tiles which were stacked vertically I signed no delivery note as the tiles had not yet been checked.The courier company left and I started to carry the tiles into the house after about 20 tiles worth I came across 4 broken tiles ,emailed and phoned stone deals to let them know and at first they wanted to know if we could use them as off cuts ,we said we couldn't .Eventually they agreed to replace the 4tiles after we had emailed photos of the broken tiles over to them but said we would have to pay another £50 delivery charge. we refused as we had already paid £50 delivery for the 50 tiles in the first place now 4 tiles short for our bathroom, legal action now being taken against the company .DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

Apologies that you have had a problem with our products an services. We have checked the case again, and found out that our staff has handled the situation in a reasonably way. - We offered the customer free replacements which can be collected from our warehouse - We offered full refund on the damages Both have been declined by the customer who claimed that they need exactly 50 tiles to finish the project and they cannot collect from our warehouse. However we always recommend our customers to purchase slightly extra (10% recommended) just in case there are issues due to transport or installation so they do not run out of tiles. Even though the transport company is not accepting any claims, to keep the customer happy we are arranging replacements at our own expense and we have got in touch with the customer.

“Dealings with the company were excellent, no fuss, very efficient - we got exactly what we wanted - product excellent. The only downside was delivery - although it was on time, the crate was not sealed, top ripped open, driver would not wait for us to check goods thoroughly, wouldn't unload until we agreed not to check whole consignment. Goods in good condition apart from three tiles with small chipd out the corner. Thank you”

“This review would have read "very good" however a small number of our natural oyster riven slate tiles were damaged by poor packaging. The main larger pallet with the tiles stacked vertically was fine, the smaller pallet with slates stacked together horizontally with no separation on the tiles resulted in damaged surfaces in transit. We were lucky because with our over order of 10% we were able to lay a beautiful floor. We checked the tiles on delivery for broken ones and found non, however the time limit of 48 hours is insufficient to check for scratched or damaged surfaces as we had 173. 600x300 tiles to check. I would buy from Stone Deals again as the floor was value for money and looks amazing, but I would check ALL my tiles.”

“Everything went well though when it all arrived it turned out that the boxes had got wet so they were a little unstable. It was not apparent from a casual inspection. I also wish you were able to be more precise about delivery time though, as that could be a problem. Having said that, everything else was fine.”

“Excellant service the delivery driver helped us putting the goods indoors even though it was quite heavy. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the delivery man he was such a nice person and very very helpful in making sure the goods arrived to us in excellent condition, he added that extra special touch to your service. “Friendly helpful service. Could be a little more accurate about the delivery process. It comes across on the website as if you have to stay in for 4 days in a row in case the delivery comes, when in fact the carrier will call you to arrange the day and driver kindly called en route so we could make sure we were definitely in. The delivery terms need to be updated, thats all. Great price on the tiles too!”
