“Never again. Poor quality tiles. Six of them arrived broken. Too much stress having to take photos, telephone conversations, emails and days off work to meet delivery driver. The six tiles that were resent out were of much better quality and what I expected. The first batch are dull with a green moss look to the background. They must have been in the warehouse a long time. Bianco Carrera Marble is what I ordered. I'm having to reorder all tiles from another supplier as I don't want to ruin a £30,000 project”

We are surprised to hear these comments, as customer bought 9m2 of Carrara Marble, they advised that 2m2 (6 tiles) are faulty and these were replaced without even collecting the claimed faulty tiles. Where the customer complains about telephone conversations, having to take photos are normal procedures for replacements, once the customer provided more evidence for the alleged faulty material, we replaced them at no extra cost. And finally we do not understand why the customer has to reorder all the tiles again where they wanted exactly 6 tiles to finish off the project? The tiles could have all returned back if they were not suitable for the project.

“Wasn't happy the tiles were delivered palletised and loose. I felt they could have been at least losely bundled. Pallet had to be left on the road due to steps to my property and having to handle loose tiles made the job harder work than it should have been.”

Many thanks for your review. We have checked and no problems were reported after the delivery. Also the tiles the customer purchased are loose (not boxed) and delivery was done to the kerbside (nearest point to the property) as explained to the customer before delivery.

“I purchased more then 150 square meters from Stone deals for our entire house (apart from bedrooms) however, the customer service was good at first this is why I went back to them after finishing each room, as the products were ok and customer service was good. But when it came to the garden tiles and I told them This would be the last lot we will be buying as we finished our house renovation, they showed us their real face. First you have to check tiles by tiles while driver is waiting and report any damage to the driver and mention it on the recipe you sign and take pictures, otherwise, they reject any claim afterward. When I bought the exterior limestones tiles for the garden, they arrived completely different to the sample they sent to me, when I called them they said "this is the only exterior tiles we sell so it is what you ordered " I accepted that but when I checked them again the colour was not matching at all neither did the texture, there are so many holes and broken edges. I called them again they said use them on the corners when need cutting they should be fine, and they said just fill up the holes with grout! However, I suggest to our tiller to leave these imperfections ones to the last or hope we don't use them. But coming back from work the tiller was already finished the tiles and laid all as he has got the work as contract and wanted to finish it ASAP so he can move on. I called them and told them the situation hoped they will do something . They told me the representative will visit us to look at the tiles , this promise was weeks and weeks ago! but I've never heard back from them or apologise why they could not make it. However, Stone tiles might gained from my shopping with them, but they lost my recommendation to friends . I hate going to our garden or even look at it which I thought I will do up the garden so we will enjoy the outdoor but sadly it is not , as I remember the experience I went through with Stone Deals and the tiles are not to my expectations.”

“I spoke to Lucy over the phone and she was very knowledgeable about the tiles I required, advising me of the formation I required for the modular pattern I had chosen. As this was a part order, she advised on the amount of tiles I would require initially and provided advice on the tile fixative, grout and sealer. Delivery was speedy via a transport company who happened to be quite local to us. We expect to place the remaining part of our order in the next month or so and have every confidence that all will go well. Many thanks.”
