“Generally very happy with Stone Deals. My only problem has been with how the tiles were delivered - the issue being that the tiles we stacked face to face on a pallet and I am trying to work out how to prise at least one pair of tiles apart without damaging them - I have yet to go though the stack to see him many more are like this.”

Dear Sir, Thank you again for your order with us. We truly value our customers' feedback and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. Within the natural stone industry, products are handled using standard practices throughout the entire process, from manufacturers' palletising to order preparation by suppliers like ourselves for dispatch. Tiles are packed with the finished (good) faces together and the backs together. This face-to-face, back-to-back packing method is designed to minimise the risk of damage to the finished surface during transportation and on-site handling. You have purchased our filled and honed Travertine range. This means the face of each tile has been filled and honed to achieve a smooth, refined finish. As Travertine is a natural stone, it can occasionally retain a small amount of natural moisture. In some cases, this may cause two tiles to appear as though they are lightly stuck together. In many cases, the tiles will separate easily during normal handling. If they seem slightly difficult to separate, the recommended solution is simply to leave the 2 tiles aside for a short period. This allows any residual moisture to evaporate naturally, exposing them to sunlight or slight artificial heat can speed up the process. We hope this explanation is helpful. “I’m very happy with the tiles. Had to buy a small amount to cover a small splash back. The delivery price was extortionate and a lot more than the cost of the tiles. The small amount of tiles don’t warrant a ‘pallet’ delivery. In retrospect I wouldn’t have bought these tiles as the delivery was so expensive.”

“You need to update your post code address finder. I could not supply my actual address as it did not appear on the post code finder. Software update required. You cannot enter your actual address. Allowing that, would help. I had to call the company and your representative was really helpful, changed my adddress and sent me new documents, excellent. £80 delivery is expensive. Maybe allow a customer to get a single large tile, or less than 1 sqm, to see what they are like .”

“Good value and quality products. Delivery was efficient. Was a little cautious re ordering a large quantity of stone flooring from a sample via on line store. However based on my experience I would now recommend such a purchase to others.”

“Everything arrived in good order and tiles appear to be high quality, well packaged when it left stone deals, transit company damaged pallet during final move on pallet truck into my garage (which they didn't have to do) this led to very minor damage to a few tiles, but 99% were undamaged so I was happy about that. Dropping a star for the unrealistic expectation that tiles are examined before delivery driver leaves, there was no delivery note to record any damages on and the driver just left, the tiles were in a crate which was nailed shut and extracting them for a random inspection was just not realistic in any timeframe a delivery company would hang around for - I only noticed the damage to the crate during an inspection which took me 2 hours as the tiles were very tightly packed so impossible to remove random ones for inspection - fortunately as I say 99.9% of the tiles are usable but worth bearing in mind”

Hello Neil, firstly thank you for your order with us. We are sorry to hear you received some damaged claddings on your order however, we have not been informed of this so we would have started proceedings to resolve this for you at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately, due to the highly fragile nature of claddings and the restrictions in the type of packaging that can be used for them due to their varying thicknesses mean, on rare occasions, damages can unfortunately occur however, if we are informed, we do our best to resolve this for our customers asap. “The quality was excellent, the price was competitive, it was all in stock and buying online was quick and easy! The delivery cost was just bearable with a 3-5 day drop off promised BUT that wasn’t going to happen in that timeframe we were told and we had to travel to Treforest and pick it up from a depot if we wanted it earlier than ten days.”

“I ordered a tile sample, the process was quick and easy and the sample arrived in a timely manner. The sample was to match existing tiles which was fitted years ago which turned out to be perfect. Unfortunately when I was ready to place my order you had to purchase a minimum of 1 square meter which was almost three times more than I needed so I was not able to complete the order on this occasion. Customer services was very helpful when I rang for to discuss the my order.”
