“The silver fantasy 60x60 marble tiles arrived with 3 days. Packed to perfection and not a single crack or breakage in nearly 50sq metres. The hues and pattern were so much better than expected from my small 10cm sample and exceptional vfm. I would highly recommend them and will not hesitate to buy again.”

“There are many online stone and tile sellers, and it can sometimes be difficult to assess their legitimacy, flexibility, and integrity. I had a large order of almost 100 square meters of marble and reached out to Stone Deal. I spoke with a brilliant lady named Jo, who promptly sent me live pictures of the marble I had selected. To ensure the quality, I initially placed a small order of 7 square meters. The marble arrived exactly as described, both online and in the photographs. The delivery was on time, and the delivery personnel were helpful. After approving the sample, I proceeded to order the remaining quantities. Special thanks to Jo and the team.”

“I bought their lovely looking premium travertine tiles recently for my kitchen floor and all looked well on ordering them - you can read my earlier 4 star review below. You can pick them up and move them around - I back filled the voids to give them extra strength - however a few weeks later and it came time to lay them. My installer broke one just by lifting it - then I broke another - then I stress tested them by putting them on cardboard and jumping on them - shattered - then another by the weakest stamp of my foot - think toddler jumping weak stamp - broke and not even near my foot - these are just not robust enough for a floor - I think they would break easily if you dropped anything slightly heavy on one - suitable only for walls - they do look lovely though so I'll be using them on a bathroom project for the walls - and no Stone Deals will not refund you - avoid making a costly mistake by ordering from them - or order from them and complain and then receive a generous offer of driving to Lincolnshire to buy more more of their sub standard products with a small discount - seriously that is what they said! - I have used travertine tiles from another store previously and none of those broke - they where very robust e.g. metal wheeled sofa in a conservatory and no breaks in 2 years - so travertine tiles are not all fragile just the ones sold by Stone Deals - buy cheap - buy twice - lesson learnt!”

Travertine is one of the most popular ranges within the natural stone tile sector where just ourselves dispatch over 1000s of square meters a year to our valued customers. Please kindly be reminded that all our items go through vigorous stress tests and quality control during the manufacturing stage. We then receive all items within a carefully and securely packed pallet. During the order preparation stage, our experienced warehouse staff then repack orders of various quantities in a way which secures items as best as possible to ensure they arrive intact and undamaged at their final destination for our customers. We would like to kindly point out that you have confirmed none of the 118 tiles you received on your order were damaged on arrival in your e-mail to us and that you had picked them up and moved them on the day they arrived, but that you had experienced damages "a few weeks later" where you had a broken tile when your tiler was handling one. You then "stress tested" them by putting a tile on a cardboard and "jumping on them" Kindly be informed Chris that natural stone tiles are not stress tested by putting them on something soft and then having an adult "jump" on them to test their durability. Every natural stone has different properties and stress tolerances, Marble, for example, is a harder stone that has a higher stress tolerance, granite an even harder stone, has an even higher tolerance but even these stone ranges may not withstand your stress testing technique of putting them on something soft and then "jumping on them". Natural Travertine has natural holes within its structure, some tiles tend to have more and some less within the Travertine range, the tiles are additionally supported by the adhesive they are laid on once fully tried, like all floor tiles. We, as the supplier, can not be held responsible for tile breakages when handling, cutting or "stress testing them by jumping on them" that had initially arrived in perfect condition. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we have still offered you a considerable discount on any replacements you would like to purchase to replace the tiles that you had jumped on or broke when handling them on-site after several weeks of receiving them. “I ordered 6.5 square metres of marble tile. More than 25% of the marble tiles delivered were chipped in some way - either on the surface or edges or corners. I sent the photos of the damage as requested. Initially, they wanted to blame the courier- but the pallet was clearly not damaged. I was then informed that these chips were normal. I gave up on the least damaged (still damaged) tiles and continued to push for the 5 most damaged tiles to be replaced so that I could continue the project. Stone Deals then suggested I was looking at the back of the tiles as that sort of damage would not be on the front. Again, I took front and back photos and sent them. Stone Deals have never got back to me and are ignoring my request. I would not recommend using this company. It has been a very expensive mistake.”

Hello Ms Clark Thank you for your review, although, we are a bit puzzled why you feel we are ignoring you contacting us. We had kindly requested both sides photos of the tiles you had initially reported as damaged, you had then forwarded several photos which again show the back of the tiles in most of the 5 photos you had forwarded, only 1 tile seen in the photos you had provided show a small corner damage on a single tile. Please kindly again be informed that manufacturing of natural stones can cause surface scratches on the bottom of a stone range (not seen after laying them), these are not deemed as damaged items as this is a regular occurrence with all-natural stone range production. Please kindly forward the top side photos (the good side visible after laying the tiles) that you feel are damaged and we will do our best to resolve this for you at the earliest opportunity. “Everything arrived in good order and tiles appear to be high quality, well packaged when it left stone deals, transit company damaged pallet during final move on pallet truck into my garage (which they didn't have to do) this led to very minor damage to a few tiles, but 99% were undamaged so I was happy about that. Dropping a star for the unrealistic expectation that tiles are examined before delivery driver leaves, there was no delivery note to record any damages on and the driver just left, the tiles were in a crate which was nailed shut and extracting them for a random inspection was just not realistic in any timeframe a delivery company would hang around for - I only noticed the damage to the crate during an inspection which took me 2 hours as the tiles were very tightly packed so impossible to remove random ones for inspection - fortunately as I say 99.9% of the tiles are usable but worth bearing in mind”

We are sorry to hear you received some damaged claddings on your order however, we have not been informed of this so we would have started proceedings to resolve this for you at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately, due to the highly fragile nature of claddings and the restrictions in the type of packaging that can be used for them due to their varying thicknesses mean, on rare occasions, damages can unfortunately occur however, if we are informed, we do our best to resolve this for our customers asap. “At first the tiles I wanted were not available but I was informed when they were coming into the warehouse and it was accurate. The courier service was excellent with good communication and a suitable date and time for delivery arranged.”

“The marble floor tiles I ordered are perfect. The service was really fast, all delivered at the agreed date and time, all tiles intact and only one very small chip along one side of one tile that will be absolutely lost in the cuts. I really couldn't ask for anything more. I will definitely recommend and will be back for more. Thanks you for a great job extremely well done.”
