Firstly, the terms and conditions ask you to write any problems with delivery on the delivery paperwork. In practice I had 27 boxes with 4 tiles in each box covered in polythene and secured with metal bands. I did have one broken box delivered afterwards and I did get some money back but could not use any of the tiles. When the tiles were laid a little time later there disappointingly none of the Gold in the tiles which was clearly shown on the web site photos.i personally didn't like Stone deals response, beware out there. The site would not load my photo of my floor or a copy of my email but did let me upload a picture from the web site of how my floor should look like

Hello, Mr. Barber. We do appreciate your feedback, and we have added the photos you have sent in to us via e-mail to your feedback. As you are aware, this item is a natural marble range; therefore, there will always be natural variations between individual tiles, this sometimes can mean some of the tiles do not have any gold in them however, you state that none of the tiles you have received have any gold in them when, in fact, the natural gold colour can be seen in the tiles that you have sent in the photos of. You placed 2 orders with us, one of 27 boxes on the 10th of October, and reported a small number of unfortunate damages for which we refunded you for and you confirmed you have checked "every box" before your refund was issued. You then placed another 3 box order 6 days after your first order on the 16th of October. On the 28th of November, you reported "no gold in any of the tiles" to us, we appreciate that sometimes customers may have a delay in their installation however, we do expect that our customers contact us regarding any concerns before their items are installed, which will enable us to resolve any issues customers may have as soon as possible. But, you are reporting "no gold in any of the tiles" after you have installed your tiles and then sent in photos that clearly do actually show the natural gold in the tiles in your photos. Customers are always free to return any of the items they order from us and if we were informed of your concern prior to installing your items, we could arrange a collection and issue a full refund for you. Although my tiles were stone (travertine) there were 61 tiles in total. 51 tiles were great, the other 10 were damaged and badly chipped on the corners and stone deals said they would not replace because they said it was part of the natural stone. The other 51 were not chipped on the edges and face. I done exactly what they asked and noted the damage on delivery but still will not replace. I wouldn't trust them to buy tiles from again. What if the next lot arrived damaged, It would mean I would loose money. So I wasn't impressed. Buying cheaper is not always a good idea.

Dear customer, you had rang in to report that there were "chunks missing" from many of the tiles you had received of our Classic Travertine filled and honed range. We then kindly requested that you forward photos showing the stated damages. Upon assessing the 4 photos you had forwarded, it was determined that these were the natural holes within the Travertine (which is a well-known stone range with natural holes) You were then respectfully explained that, when resizing the travertine into specific sizes that the cuts can go through some of these natural holes. The top surface of the tiles in this range, however, will be filled and honed where whereas the sides or underneath of the tiles will not be. We then kindly requested photos of actually damaged tiles, to which we were still awaiting your response before receiving your review. To also highlight, our Travertine range comes in various grades. The Ivory Travertine range is hand-selected during production to include a more consistent stone with fewer holes that are much smaller. Due to this, the price of this range is higher than the Classic Travertine range, which tends to have more holes that are larger. We respectfully again request that you forward photos of actual damaged tiles for which we can arrange your replacements to be sent out to you asap.

You need to update your post code address finder. I could not supply my actual address as it did not appear on the post code finder. Software update required. You cannot enter your actual address. Allowing that, would help. I had to call the company and your representative was really helpful, changed my adddress and sent me new documents, excellent. £80 delivery is expensive. Maybe allow a customer to get a single large tile, or less than 1 sqm, to see what they are like .

Brilliant service from enquiry to delivery. A sample sent so that we could see the product before ordering. And what a breath of fresh air, to deal with an online company who are also on the end of a phone, with friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend Stone Deals

Please be aware the tiles quality is very poor. The stone is thin and transparent, easily breaks when cut, so you will need more material than usual tiles. Please check each stone after removing packaging during the delivery as the customer service wouldn’t not refund you after.

Hello Ms Childs We always appreciate all customer feedback and take on board any advice or suggestions our customers make or any product or customer service feedback they wish to leave. This also provides us with the opportunity to respond to customer feedback. The tiles you have ordered are advertised as 10 mm thick, with the accepted tolerance within the market being +/- 1-3 mm. Your comment regarding the tiles being "transparent" is slightly confusing, as even in the photo you have uploaded, it can be seen that this is not the case. Although we admit with thin natural stone, sometimes light can be seen to shine through, this does not mean the product is of low quality and merely is the result of the thickness and colour of the natural stone in question. You have reported damages 1 week after you received your order, stating they were received damaged. We kindly enquired if the 2 tiles we supplied to you were reported as damaged to the delivery driver, to which you replied with "no". As a responsible supplier, we still offered you 2 free replacement tiles either for collection or with haulier charges paid. Now you state that the tiles are "of low quality and break when being cut". There is some confusion as to when your 2 tiles were damaged. On this occasion , we can confirm the quality of the product is not the issue, and regarding damages, we have done and offered all we can to resolve this matter for you. With regards

The service was exceptional. Products were delivered on time in good condition. But the delivery driver! What a guy! Helped get the pallet into my garage, even though kerbside was the deal. Cheerful good humour, too. Absolutely brilliant!!

The delivery driver could not have been more helpful or accommodating. He telephoned approximately one hour before arrival, which gave my partner the opportunity to acquaint him with the nature of the road on which we live and to familiarise him with the best way to approach it if in a large lorry. The tiles themselves were fine. A few had chips : but they are travertine (notorious for fracturing easily). I would not fault them. However, I found the woman with whom I had dealings when placing the order to be quite disinterested. I was left with an overwhelming sense of “computer says no.” I then saw that your telephone number was 020…., viz. London. If she has to live there, I forgive her entirely. If I had to live there I suspect I would have given up on life by now.

I recently ordered travertine tiles from Stone Deals online and was really impressed with the whole experience. The order was processed and delivered promptly, and the tiles were packed with great care to ensure they arrived in perfect condition. I’m very happy with my tiles, the stone is lovely. Ordering from this company was excellent with great fast delivery and Jo was very helpful helping with our order. Our bathroom is still in progress but will look lovely when it’s finished.

We are delighted with the Carrera mixed polished marble tiles. These are beautiful tiles of high quality, accurately machined and well finished. There is minimal variation in the thickness of the tiles and the facing edge is clean and sharp. The delivery went very smoothly and the driver was helpful and careful. The tiles arrived well packed and in good condition. We are busy installing them in our bathroom - will add a photo when it's finished!
