Excellent service from this company. A lovely lady on the phone managed to contact the warehouse and arrange for next day delivery even though I was past the deadline. Thank you so much Mary Hodge

The tiles were cheaper than anywhere else, but delivery costs are high. Unfortunately my next day delivery did not arrive. Following my email, I got a call the next morning and my tiles were delivered within the hour. The tiles were great.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re really pleased to hear that you were happy with the tiles and found them to be great value. We’re sorry that your next-day delivery didn’t arrive as planned. We use third-party hauliers for our deliveries, and their delivery charges and services are not always within our control. We understand how frustrating this must have been. We’re glad that, after you contacted us, we were able to get your tiles delivered the following morning. Thank you again for your patience and for your kind feedback. We really appreciate it. Customer Service Team

Incredibly user-friendly website. Easy to find what I wanted; easy to order; easy to change deliver address to cope with pallet delivery vehicle. Just one problem - I received a text from an unnamed delivery firm wanting me to call to confirm delivery address. Text looked slightly suspicious as I had no idea what they were delivering and was on the verge of deleting text. Thankfully I contacted Stone Deals and they reassured me that this was the delivery firm they were using.

Tiles arrived within five days as indicated & we were able to agree with the driver for the pallet to be placed on our land. We await with anticipation them being laid now.

Generally very happy with Stone Deals. My only problem has been with how the tiles were delivered - the issue being that the tiles we stacked face to face on a pallet and I am trying to work out how to prise at least one pair of tiles apart without damaging them - I have yet to go though the stack to see him many more are like this.

Dear Sir, Thank you again for your order with us. We truly value our customers' feedback and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. Within the natural stone industry, products are handled using standard practices throughout the entire process, from manufacturers' palletising to order preparation by suppliers like ourselves for dispatch. Tiles are packed with the finished (good) faces together and the backs together. This face-to-face, back-to-back packing method is designed to minimise the risk of damage to the finished surface during transportation and on-site handling. You have purchased our filled and honed Travertine range. This means the face of each tile has been filled and honed to achieve a smooth, refined finish. As Travertine is a natural stone, it can occasionally retain a small amount of natural moisture. In some cases, this may cause two tiles to appear as though they are lightly stuck together. In many cases, the tiles will separate easily during normal handling. If they seem slightly difficult to separate, the recommended solution is simply to leave the 2 tiles aside for a short period. This allows any residual moisture to evaporate naturally, exposing them to sunlight or slight artificial heat can speed up the process. We hope this explanation is helpful. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to assist. Kind regards,

We are absolutely over the moon with these tiles. They do take a bit of fitting, and cleaning the grout from the indentations took a few days. The LTP Ironwax Sealer has really brought out the details of the natural stone and the varied colours. As I say a bit of work, but well worth the effort. The only part I thought was crazy was the 85 quid delivery charge, as they say up north "Paul Cannal".

A great service, tiles were delivered on time by a very helpful driver. I did have a problem ordering the tiles using PayPal, however a phone call the next day confirmed it was because the order was over £1000, C.S took payment over the phone and placed the order with my bank card. Thank you so much. It might be worthwhile providing other payment methods for customers to access on line and pay. ( only a suggestion.)

I was at home waiting for my delivery, for renovation to start the next day. Nobody showed up. The following day I get a call - they claim the delivery came and I wasn’t home, so if I want a re delivery I would have to pay £85. I tell them I was home and ask for proof that they came. They say they’ll send me proof. It’s been 5 days and I haven’t heard back, neither did I receive my order, with workers waiting to be able to start the renovation. If you have a choice, do not order from this website.

Dear Ms Metz, Thank you for your feedback — we genuinely value hearing from our customers and are sorry for the frustration this situation has caused. We would like to clarify a few details regarding the delivery attempt. According to the report from the third-party haulier, their driver attended your address after 5pm, knocked on your door, and also attempted to contact you via the phone number we have on file. Unfortunately, there was no response. The driver remained on site for approximately 20 minutes and made a further attempt at the door before ultimately returning the items to their warehouse. As this occurred after our office hours, our team was only made aware of the failed delivery the following day, at which point we contacted you to explain the situation. We understand your request to see proof of the delivery attempt before proceeding with the re-delivery charge. Please be assured that we have requested this information from the local depot and are actively following it up. However, response times can vary depending on staffing levels at individual depots, and we appreciate your patience while we await their reply. In the meantime, if you would prefer not to delay your delivery further, you are welcome to contact our sales team to arrange payment of the re-delivery charge. Once this is processed (this fee is set by and payable to the local depot), we can promptly arrange for a new delivery date at your convenience. We sincerely apologise again for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Kind regards, Customer Services Team

I’m very happy with the tiles. Had to buy a small amount to cover a small splash back. The delivery price was extortionate and a lot more than the cost of the tiles. The small amount of tiles don’t warrant a ‘pallet’ delivery. In retrospect I wouldn’t have bought these tiles as the delivery was so expensive.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Stone Deals, not because an issue arose, but because of the manner in which responsibility was repeatedly deflected once it did. Following delivery, nine tiles, around 9 percent of the order, were found to be cracked. The pallet and all boxes were intact. The damage was confined to individual tiles inside sealed boxes and was reported the same day with photographs. Despite this, the initial response focused on whether the delivery paperwork had been signed as damaged, implicitly attributing fault to transport, even though there was no external damage to note at delivery. When this position became untenable, the explanation shifted. First, the cracks were dismissed as “natural veining”, accompanied by an unsolicited and scientifically dubious lecture on stone formation, including the assertion that veins are “natural cracks”. Once further evidence was provided, the issue was reframed again, this time on price. I was explicitly told that at £39.99 per square metre I should not expect good quality stone, despite the same stone being sold by the company in other formats at prices approaching £99.99 per square metre. In the same correspondence, I was described as a “valued customer” and offered a single free box as a goodwill gesture, while being expected to either collect it myself or pay delivery costs exceeding the value of the tiles. It is deeply disappointing to see a business show so little pride in its product or accountability in its service, and instead give the impression of prioritising deflection, patronising explanations and opportunistic charges over honest resolution.

Dear Ms Sejan Firstly, thank you for providing photographs of the areas you believe to be defective in the natural stone purchased from us. We have offered a complimentary box of the same product at no additional cost, which we consider to be a reasonable resolution in circumstances where damage was not recorded with the delivery driver at the time of receipt. We value all customer feedback, as it helps us continually review and improve our service and internal processes. We have acknowledged, and continue to acknowledge, that the two tiles identified as damaged require replacement. As a prompt resolution, we have offered to replace these two tiles and include three additional tiles at no extra charge. However, we must clarify that many of the areas you have referred to as defects relate to natural veining. In several cases, the veining shown is on the reverse of the tiles, which is laid into bedding material during installation and is not visible once fitted. The veining visible on the face of the tiles is a natural characteristic of the stone and does not constitute a defect. These natural features are representative of the product and are clearly displayed within the imagery provided on our website. https://www.stonedeals.co.uk/p/crema-beige-hexagon-marble-tile-polished You have again stated that you found our earlier explanation regarding the formation and characteristics of different stone ranges to be “patronising” and described it as an “unsolicited and scientifically dubious lecture on stone formation.” We would like to clarify that our previous explanation was provided solely to ensure transparency and to give clear information about the product supplied. It was not intended to cause offence. However, we must provide accurate, factual and consistent information about the materials we supply to all customers, so that expectations align with the inherent characteristics of natural stone. As a valued customer, when you indicated that you have an extensive understanding of how rock forms, we then took the opportunity to explain our pricing structure in more detail. We fully respect your level of knowledge and simply clarified that natural stone is graded, with pricing reflecting that grading. This is standard practice across the industry and applied consistently by suppliers to the ranges they offer Respectfully, a natural stone range priced at £39.99 per square metre will not exhibit the same level of uniformity or selection as a range priced at £129.99 per square metre. Differences in grading, consistency and visual refinement are reflected in the price point. Expecting identical characteristics across significantly different price tiers would not be realistic, as higher-priced ranges undergo more selective grading for consistency and appearance. Our position remains that, aside from the two damaged tiles already acknowledged, the product supplied is consistent with the advertised specification and inherent characteristics of the range. Nevertheless, as a gesture of goodwill, we are prepared to provide a complimentary box of this range for collection from your nearest warehouse. As this is a natural product, any replacement tiles may display similar natural variation. With kindest regards Customer service team
