Providers waste your time by putting low bids and then when you ask if they can deliver on the weekend dates you've clearly stated in your original request they say 'oh we don't deliver at weekends'. Buy a calendar lads and stop messing people around.

Hi, Sorry to hear that your experience was not a positive one. We can understand that this can be a frustrating experience. This is not the standard of service we expect from transport providers, the majority of whom do an excellent job and are reliable. Unfortunately, it is the small minority that let the majority down. Was excellent, but Shiply has headed in the 'Big Brother' direction like eBay and tries to control everything via poor quality AI which isn't yet ready for the purpose. An incredibly frustrating experience trying to get quotes for full value insurance on top of the original shipping quote, and everytime a price is mentioned, the programming blocks it for some strange reason. Why on earth block like this when many of the couriers allow discussion of wther you want insurance, or packing, or help unloading at either end etc etc. Please SORT IT OUT SHIPLY, as this is ruining the service. Thank you.

The courier cancelled the collection twice. I had to wait at home 3 days running for the delivery I was promised a van with a tail gate and pallet trolly. it had neither and my partner and I had to help the driver lift the heavy object off the van into the house. the load was not safely secured with straps and a large heavy load was balanced on top of the cooker that had a glass top so could have easily been damaged

Where do I start, following receipt of a quote for a full list with measurements and over estimated boxes and bags. I was extremely upset when the van arrived for removal knowing it would not fit all my belongings in one trip which was the criteria for us accepting the quote. Shipley where rude and unhelpful. After the move we found boxes upside down boxes clearly marked fragile packed under boxes. Sofa with a large dirty stain the list goes on. Things were just thrown into the spare room. Boxes clearly marked were left in different rooms things for the shed put in the house. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND USING SHIPLEY TO ANYONE. STAY CLEAR IF YOU VALUE YOUR ITEMS.

Kitten hadn’t ate or drank for 3 days. Hairless cat and she was so cold it took us half an hour Soto get her warm. Now we’ve had 2 trip to the vet and she’s sick on antibiotics. Also driver was very rude

Everything agreed, cancelled an hour after pickup was due, some BS about covid. Waste of space !

Process complex, once you have accepted an offer you can not do anything, as I transfered the money via the bank it took more than three days till I was able to restart communication with the supplier. What I also not like is the fact that you do not get an invoice directly after the payment of the service fee. Why is this? You need to ask for the invoice with a separate e-mail which is not convenient.

Put in bid after seeing image, size and weight and then and then told me there company was unable to deliver, don’t expect anything

Shiply is not a transporter, we are simply the marketplace where users and transporters can meet and enter into mutual agreements. System seemed to work well but the amount that Shiply take as commission is absolutely exhobitant! Won't use ever again because of this.

Awful experience with the couriers introduced by shiply. Cost me 20hours holiday from work due to 2 missed appointments and then another 5hours as the company refused to arrange for an evening delivery. Contacted shiply who basically wipe their hands of things once the money is taken

Gave deposit $ to secure a delivery, spoke with the driver to make arrangements to get delivery picked up, and did not show up or call back. Driver was a 150 miles away from the pick up location waited a few hours. Gave up and did it myself.

When the delivery guys are good all smooth, but when bad no help from shiply to chase and get it sorted. I got a garden dining set delivered by delivery company called Hellosir in Shiply. They by mistake took back handles of a chair. and now 3 months haven't delivered. Raised with Shiply a complain, but dont see they have chased Hellosir either. What's annoying is this Hellosir guys keep saying next week all the time reminded as if its a joke.

Shiply must be one of the most Eco-unfriendly companies out there. They have no mechanism for combining pickups so if you're in London and you've Bought something in Nottingham and something else in Leeds you have to have two vans smoking their way down to London and presumably all the way back. I tried to ask if a provider could pickup from two locations and Shiply censored that part of my message and allowed through the part where I've offered double money. No wonder the provider was confused!!! Shiply? in the bin, sorry

Driver is rude and unhelpful and they claim to be man with a van not logistic and shipping company. Bear in mind if you have a large item prepared to pick it up and put it in the van yourself and on the other side somebody has to be there to unloaded.

Takes no responsibility for unethical behaviour of its recommended shippers. Shiply needs to install a sophisticated vetting system, including a security bond to protect clients.
