NOT FOR SINGLE BOXES! I bet this service is great for bigger jobs with furniture, machinery, or multiple boxes, but if you have just one piece, don't waste your time. Positives: the listing experience was a breeze and many quotes came back quickly and easy to find. The reason I'm writing this review is to spare anyone else the trouble if they're looking to ship a single box. I came to Shiply because I thought UPS was charging an ridiculously high price ($660) to ship a 48x24x21 inch, 79 Lb. box. Expecting to get a lower price, I was surprised to get quotes for double what UPS charges. The lowest quote being $1100. I don't see any advice on the shiply site regarding small items and wish I had spared myself the trouble knowing what I know now.

They gave me a heart attack, telling me the driver was on his way to pick up my car -- and that I had spoken to the shipping company and agreed to this -- when there was no one at the starting location to handle arrangements. The contract states that the details of the shipment will be discussed and agreed upon at some point after customer accepts the quote. Details were still being discussed when someone from the company decided to just go and pick up my car and claimed I'd agreed to it.

Die optionale Versicherung, die nochmal die Hälfte des Transportpreises ausmachen würde, ist m. E. freundlich ausgedrückt absolut nicht gerechtfertigt.

I used this company for a move from GA to NY via Shiply, and it was a nightmare. Be very careful: this was a classic bait-and-switch. After paying a booking fee with an agreed-upon remaining balance of $447, the driver demanded $700 for 'extra items'—yet he simultaneously refused to load many of those very same belongings, claiming there was no room. I ended up paying $655 just to get my delivery, which felt like being robbed, especially since I am now in a new state living without my necessities because so much was left behind. ​The level of service was nonexistent. My stepfather had to pack the entire truck himself because the driver claimed he 'didn't lift anything.' To make matters worse, the driver was dishonest; when he arrived in NY, he claimed he had done all the labor and told me my family was lying. He was unpunctual, inconsistent with his timing, and manipulative about pricing. I paid nearly $200 over my quote for a job that wasn't even half-finished. Save yourself the stress and the money—avoid this mover at all costs.

Der Transport war einwandfrei verlaufen; allerdings ist die Abwicklung noch nicht zu Ende gedacht bzw. nicht sehr Kundenfreindlich. Bis zur Bestätigung eines Gebotes weiß man nicht aus welchem Land das Transportunternehmen ist. Ich habe erst nach der Auftragsvergabe erfahren, dass es aus Polen kommt. Dann bekomme ich von dem Transportunternehmen eine Versicherungsbestätigung zugeschickt, von einem polnischen Versichere, den man nicht mal googeln konnte. Außerdem war der Versicherungsschutz auf Polen begrenzt. Wäre es tatsächlich zu einem Schaden gekommen, wüsste ich nicht an wen ich mich wenden sollte und ob es überhaupt erstattet werden würde. Für die Gebühren, die sich das Portal einbehält, sollte man mehr Transparenz und Sicherheit bitten können.

Very responsive with communication when sending information to collect fees for services within minutes but when I requested status of a delivery or other questions it took hours or a couple of days.

Shiply did a bad job, 6 days for payment check. Nowadays a no go. The transport company itself did a great job, so shiply 1 transport company 5 stars.

Writing messages on shiply platform is terrible. Long texts not possible.. The booking period for the deposit takes far to long (10 days) and is unacceptable when you also consider the amount of commision. Process is not transparent to customer

Job accepted very quickly. Good price. End of positive feedback. The negative and the reason I won’t use this company again; communication very poor. I to push for responses. The main problem was finding out from the delivery driver he was alone and needed me to help him carry the sofa from his van into my home. Really?? When i explained I was unable to as I have an injured thumb he suggested we knock at a neighbours door… NO! In the end i had to help. I used my wrist to take the weight. Not good! Strangely I’ve had lots of communication since taking delivery regarding the payment of the balance!? Texts pinging through at 3am 😡

Shiply needs to be clearer that all payment needs to go through shiply. The companies operating are quoting not knowing the fees that shiply has in order to do proper quoting.

To clarify, Shiply only collects the initial service fee (and any optional extras such as the Protection Plan) directly through our platform. The remaining balance is always paid directly to the transport provider. I dont like that its a broker of a broker, and the middle man insinuated they can provide a service, but after you accept the quote, it can take weeks if not longer. If the quotes are not high enough, bid where you can back up your service and your driver are willing to make the trip. Id rather have upfront pricing than irreliable service And when I emailed Shiply I feel like i got the AI answer back.
