These guys were great. They quoted a price and stuck to it, which was competitive. They're punctuality communication and honesty was right on target. I give James, five stars for all of the above. Will definitely use Shiply in the future.

Did not give competitive price at first, then lowered price when I let them know they were one of the highest quotes I got. Poor attitude, rude representative, (talking to you, Beverly) After I gave the job to someone else, they were just rude. So unprofessional. I wouldn't ship a bicycle with these people!

From start to finish this was a seamless process for me. They said they would come at a certain time and they came. They even notified me an hour before they arrived. They also notified me when the transportation was complete. All in all a great experience and will not hesitate to use again.

I used this company for a move from GA to NY via Shiply, and it was a nightmare. Be very careful: this was a classic bait-and-switch. After paying a booking fee with an agreed-upon remaining balance of $447, the driver demanded $700 for 'extra items'—yet he simultaneously refused to load many of those very same belongings, claiming there was no room. I ended up paying $655 just to get my delivery, which felt like being robbed, especially since I am now in a new state living without my necessities because so much was left behind. ​The level of service was nonexistent. My stepfather had to pack the entire truck himself because the driver claimed he 'didn't lift anything.' To make matters worse, the driver was dishonest; when he arrived in NY, he claimed he had done all the labor and told me my family was lying. He was unpunctual, inconsistent with his timing, and manipulative about pricing. I paid nearly $200 over my quote for a job that wasn't even half-finished. Save yourself the stress and the money—avoid this mover at all costs.

I had two large rugs shipped from South Carolina to Dallas and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. I was told the driver would arrive for pickup at noon, but he showed up at 10:30 AM with no notice. This left me completely unprepared because no one contacted me to let me know the time had changed. Both rugs were wrapped in plastic at pickup. Delivery was scheduled for Sunday around 2 PM. I messaged the dispatcher multiple times that day to confirm delivery, but no one responded and the rugs never arrived. Later, the driver said they would arrive at 5 AM the next morning. We woke up early and waited, only to receive a text saying the driver overslept and would now arrive at 4:45 PM. That then changed to 6 PM. Then at 3:30 PM he suddenly texted saying he was already on the way, forcing me to rush home again because we were not expecting him at that time. I eventually had to call the dispatcher myself on Monday to explain the situation. When the rugs finally arrived, they were on a completely different truck with a different driver. One of the rugs was barely wrapped and sitting directly on the dirty floor of the truck. The dispatchers did not follow up with me until Thursday. When I explained everything that happened, they asked why I hadn’t contacted them sooner. Frankly, it is not my job to manage their drivers after paying good money for their service. They apologized but blamed the driver they hired. I requested a partial refund or discount due to the experience, and they said they would call me back — which never happened. My advice: be extremely cautious when using this service. I highly recommend taking a photo of the truck’s DOT and MC numbers when your belongings are picked up. Had I not done that, I would not have been able to track down the trucking company owner myself.
