Think twice before buying from Sharps Bedrooms, I wouldn’t use them again! I had wardrobes fitted by Sharps last week and I have to say they aren’t worth the £4.5k I paid! I expected good quality product and service, not poor quality materials and even poorer attitude from the customer services department. Even at half the price they’d be too expensive, given the majority of the construction is from cheap chipboard! The design built wasn’t to the salesman / surveyors sketch, however they refused to accept this and even put the onus back onto me for signing the drawing. They didn’t return calls or acknowledge emails until I threatened to report the issues to the finance company, even then I still had to chase up. They’ve finally acknowledged there’s a design issue and offered a token rather than true refund. Added to that and for your troubles the installer will leave you several bags of rubbish on your door step for you to get rid of, including panels nearly 3 metres long. Not what you’d expect when paying so much money!

Recently had bedroom fitted, looks good but i would advise people to shop around, on reflection i wish we had as i really have to question the way they work out pricing, not realistic,in fact its a rip off. WE WILL NOT USE SHARPES AGAIN!!

Initial sales pitch was excellent. Then the survey visit completely revised both the layout, the price and the product range chosen. Fitting date was also revised. Error made in fitting and still waiting 6 weeks later for this to be remedied. Customer service shocking - told they were very busy and I was causing them problems!!!!! Don't be fooled by this company; they over promise and under deliver

I never write reviews but often read them but felt compelled to say what a wonderful service I recieved from Sharps from start to finish. The designer was helpful the price was the price no doubling then halving. The surveyor arrived when he said he would delivery was faultless and John the fiited from Taunton was a first class worker who constructed a beautiful bedroom. All in all a straight forward no hassle process.

Had a design consultant come and quote a price. This company always state half price sale and 20% extra off before blah blah blah. The price give was insane and then halved pus an extra 15% off. There is no doubt in my mind that the price is x. It is then doubled. Then the statement is made that this is the price but with discount the figure is is then halved. Pretty annoyed with this type of sales pitch. It is not discounted!

I liked the product and believe the flexibility in the range being able to be built to fit difficult areas is fantastic and the quality appears good but.........I was put in a difficult situation of having to make a quick decision or loose out on an additional 15% discount. This sum would be a fantastic additional saving and put pressure on me to commit when I really needed more time to plan everything in more detail. Sale lost as a result! Please don't push customers!

We had shaker wardrobes fitted in our guest bedroom. Everything went to plan, no delays, and the fitter was helpful. The finished wardrobes are excellent. I would definitely recommend Sharps.

I have had my Sharps bedroom for a while now and really love it. My bedroom is my favourite room. I also highly recommend the sales rep we had, she was lovely and nothing was to much trouble

Their prices are very expensive and I'm sure if I had shopped around I would have found a much better deal. But the designer and installers were very friendly and I'm happy with the final outcome.

Oh dear , my experience has been awful and today, my wardrobes were fitted. Not what I ordered and look awful. Fitter just said he was doing what he was given. Showed him the design I had signed for but did not care. Left all his rubbish and stacks of spare wood!! Do not use Sharps, there do not care about their customers.

Mr nick. Coming out with stupid comments can cause hundreds maybe thousands of people to loose their jobs ,because you got sacked for doing a bad job .grow up and move on and try to find a gullible employer to take you on. I heard about how bad you was,so grow some b--ls and get a life

I have worked for this company. They are Thieves. We where told we could discount up to 58% if needed to. Why should someone save 58% and somebody else save 50% on exactly the same product ?? Its wrong.

Very poor customer service. I've been waiting for sharps to come and finish the job they have started but have failed to do anything about it. Customer service clearly just take messages and problems don't get solved. I've taken 5 days off work losing money as in self employed, yet they say their fitters won't come at 6pm to finish a simple job. Buck up your ideas sharps! Also I've had 8 promised phone calls back and I get nothing.

Thought I was ordering a super wardrobe but I was totally wrong. Sales guy sold me a design which I didn't get - customer service is mon existent - caused damage to a newly decorated room. I was told fit would be 2/3 days now in 4th month and still not sorted. Avoid Sharps bedrooms and go anywhere else!!

So far very un impressed. Designer was lovely and came when arranged and was brilliant with problems that may have caused issue. The surveyor on the other hand... had to wait over a month from seeing the designer to even getting an appointment for the surveyor... rush home from work on the day surveyor is meant to arrive to be told after my 3rd time of phoning that he wouldn't be coming as he had been delayed on a previous job and surveyor 're arranged for a further two weeks... in the meantime I don't know what to do with regards to decorating or fitting my new carpet as not had any dates as to when sharps bedrooms are even going to start the work. Really really not sure I would recommend sharps bedrooms to anyone ever.

Looks like a cheap wardrobe. Can see joins, Hinges poor quality. Doors light and flap open. A side wardrobe is for display not clothes. Not what we wanted. Ripping it out and going with Hammond wardrobes. Lost £2600.

I had bedroom wardrobes fitted. From start to finish the service was excellent. Designer listened to my requirements and produced wardrobes which far exceeded my expectations. Very quick turnaround and would definitely recommend.

The designer was very nice, and everything seemed ok, but when the surveyor came he spotted a mistake so my wardrobes had to be completely changed, resulting in a poor second-best alternative design. Bedroom cleared as required, the parts were delivered on time, but the next day the fitter didn't turn up. I had to phone Sharps to find out why, and was told (a) he'd called in sick and (b) that they hadn't been able to contact him (?!?). They called several times to update on their lack of progress in finding an alternative fitter. Next day I'm told that they're sending their "very best expert fitter" who will get the job done in just one day. Really? I was told it would take 3 days. Apparently he'll work on in the evening until the job is finished... but he won't be coming for a week, so I've got to live with the mess that clearing the bedroom has created for ten days, before I'll have a chance of returning to normality. Needless to say I'm not happy with the upheaval & disruption, let alone the fact that I cleared my calendar for the fitting this week, and now they're impacting on my commitments next week. Thus far, a very different (and not in a good way) experience compared with the last time they fitted a bedroom for me, and I'd be very wary of using them again, or even recommending them to anyone else.

The installation of my fitted bedroom furniture was dogged with incompetence from day one. The fitter tried his best but damaged and incorrect components had been supplied. These components were quickly re-supplied but were incorrect yet again. The fitter took longer than quoted by several days causing inconvenience. Some components had to be replaced after fitting because shortcuts had been taken to bodge the job, this resulted in redecorating and more inconvenience. The customer service department failed to correspond with me after my complaints, the only time they wrote was to demand the final 10% payment I had retained. Even though none of this was my fault they threatened me with debt collectors and the withdrawal of the twelve year warranty. all I wanted was some compensation for inconvenience, in the end they offered me £200 back on a bill of nearly £5,000. Although the finished product is ok, it's not fantastic and I would not use them again or recommend them, be warned!
