was pleased with the service received and finish of product good although the screws used for the handles were burred and sharp and had to be smoothed off. However was not pleased to be left with boxes of offcuts and lots of other rubbish especially after phoning sharps and being told this rubbish would be collected but never was. would think for the price paid any excess rubbish would be taken away.

Some confusion with delivery of bedroom units, but this was eventually sorted. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the quality of the products and the determination of the fitter to ensure that we were entirely happy.

There was some confusion with delivery of the wardrobe units, but this was dealt with. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with the quality of the units and impressed with the fitter, who could not do enough to ensure that we were happy with the results. A minor problem with the gap in the doors of one unit was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Service was first class on both our installations. Staff were very knowledgeable & helpful. Fitter was very professional & cleaned up completely after work was done. He kept us informed at all times. Finished units are of top quality & look like they will last longer than the house! Mike Bartram

Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with my experience with Shaprs and will not be purchasing again. When i placed my original order, I have bought a wardrobe and two book shelves. The wardrobe was fine but the bookshelves were very poorly designed (not even gaps between shelves and one was different from another- we have asked for them to be identical. The installation was also far from what we have expected- one shelf was glued to the wall but not the second. The gaps were visible. We have decided to remove them and not bother complaining but now the doors in the wardrobes keep opening. I have contacted Sharps customer service twice already. First time i was told that i will receive the leaflet how to fix the hinges in the post and i will need to fix that myself. Two weeks later no leaflet so I had to make another call. now still waiting for the instructions in the post. However, after purchasing such expensive furniture I would really expect someone o do that free of charge. Thank you.

Very helpful, informative and customer friendly but lacked a little finesse during the design stage and installation that I found out when I start using the wardrobe. This is a design detail that I expect from a designer to pick up and advise on as the Sharp range is very expensive. This level of detail will differentiate the Sharp range from less expensive alternatives.

We chose Sharps knowing that they would be expensive, in order to get good service and a good product. The sales person was good and I believe offered the best price available. Arrangements for delivery were very poor and the two men who delivered the materials were rude and unhelpful. Nobody turned up on the agreed installation date, for which we had arranged for someone to be in all day but a courtesy call was made a 10.30 to see how things were progressing which at least meant someone at the office sorted it out for the following day, having initially said we would have to wait another two weeks. The fitter who came worked hard and the wardrobes look great, although the two screws holding the hinges at the bottom of one of the doors have fallen out less than six months after installation. We have to wait for nearly three weeks for someone to sort it out, as the screws won't just go back in; the holes for them are too big. Confirmation letter that says they are coming to fix it has a rather blunt statement about having to pay £75 if it was not an installation or fitting problem. We will have to wait and see how effectively they fix it. All in all, very average service at a high price.

Great wardrobes ...well fitted....let down by very poor after sales staff who never call back and always have to "speak to my manager" before making any decision One bedroom finished...very pleased so we ordered another one almost immediately....no mention made of a second purchase discount...when queried they eventually, after many phone calls and no promised call backs, said the discount had been included in the quote although no mention of it was made at the time... Once they had our money, the company was let down by very poor customer service ....wouldn't use them again!

We last had a Sharps bedroom fitted nearly 25 years ago - which still looked good when we moved last September so we had no compunction about contacting them again when we needed fitted furniture in two bedrooms in our new house. And we weren't disappointed. From the initial "chat" in the showroom, to the man who came to plan the bedrooms (who came up with some really good ideas), to the surveyor and finally to the charming fitter we were delighted. Both bedrooms now look fabulous and we are more than happy to ell everyone who comments that they were fitted by Sharps. Keep up the good work!

Like many others who have written reviews on here, I was taken in by very plush advertising, excellent sales staff and a very tempting high-finish catalogue. Sales staff at the local Homebase in Northampton were extremely helpful and competent, however unfortunately from that point on my (So far) dealings with Sharps have gone steadily downhill... The designer visited and created us a very nice (And well drawn - my word that took awhile) design, which was on my Birthday ... she drank cappuccinos and shared birthday cake and all was lovely. However after we had negotiated for the relevant discounts, introductory offers (And lighting.... I can be quite devious when it comes to negotiation!) and signed up to say we were happy with everything offered, we made an appointment for the surveyor to visit. The surveyor was a good chap - I'm an engineer so I'm used to talking "engineer" and we discovered that the designer had got the measurements wrong. We re-designed correctly and further negotiated a "no extra cost" solution.... happy days as they say. Not so - the surveyor had to visit again, and we finally finalised the deal. Including arranging delivery and installation dates which worked perfectly... school holidays as that is the only time we can attend the house for the installers. 2 days before the agreed delivery was due, a call from Sharps....... this time talking about dates farther into the future. We called and were told that Sharps have "lost" the initial dates and that we would have to call the next day for rescheduled dates. We did.... and were promptly (And somewhat curtly!) told that our "case" was going into a planning meeting and nothing further could be said until that was done - bearing in mind that this "planning meeting" would take place AFTER the originally agreed delivery time and day, with Leave from work booked and the school holidays (Where we should have no problems accommodating the fitters) looming. Our room is prepared exactly as Sharps require - no easy feat when you actually have to live in the house at the same time! So we now have no wardrobes or clothes storage for ourselves, our clothes are scattered in various boxes etc throughout the house, our bedroom furniture is stored.....erm..... SOMEWHERE or other and we have a bedroom carpet rolled up in another room blocking doorways........ and still no resolution from a very unhelpful Customer Services department at Sharps. To add to that I have emailed and to date have no response - not even an automated one!! Thanks Sharps!!!! If I hadn't gone so far down the line already I'd cancel and go to a company that actually does care........... actually come to think of it...............

The wardrobe (sliding door type) was completely built in and to a very high standard. No fuss, no mess and exactly the way we wanted it. Thank you Mrs V J Birchall (posted on my behalf by my husband)

From planning to fitted wardrobes the people were excellent. Thw quality of the product is very good. The designer was very professional. the surveyor was excellent in taking off the materials need for the job and the fitter was first class. The finished product loks how it was designed to be. I would recommend Sharps to anyone looking to improve the quality of thier bedrooms.
