“The bedroom was fitted as part of a rebuild. after much toing and froing they finally agreed to install it when it was required. Unfortunately I was not at the house when it was fitted as the builders were still on site. When I called in the day after it was finished the cupboards had not been fitted to the exact drawing but it was not that far out. I was not pleased with either the salesman o the "surveyor". Neither seemed to be sure of what they were doing.”

“Excellent service from very professional people. The gentleman who fitted the units was so good and did not spend a minute wasting time. We are extremely pleased with the finished product. it looks amazing.”

“I decided to give sharps a try despite them not having exactly what I wanted, but then none of the wardrobe companies do! The salesman/designer was very polite and informative. However my expectation was not met. I thought by having somebody round to give a quote, I would get just that. But in order to take advantage of all of the discounts I had to sign up there and then without any drawings. When I explained that I needed time to think and see the other quotes, he accepted my decision and left. He left me a card, but no written quote, so I have no way of comparing this with others. I have since tried to retreive this quote by phoning and emailing, but still have nothing a month later! This has made me sure that I would not use this company. He spent almost 2 hours in my house and I have nothing. They also passed my details on to Thomas Sanderson, who started phoning me!”

“We purchased wardrobed and bedside tables four years ago and they did a really good installation job. These came with a 10 year warranty. The bedside units 2 years ago became defective and the vaneer started to lift away on both units. We callled Sharps who said they would replace the tops to the units. A fitter did come after some time who reported to have replaced the tops but he hadn't, all they had done was to put some new vaneer on which was a different colour and grain pattern. I raised this with Sharps who denied this and after numerous calls closed down the comlpaint and sent us a letter stating this. 3 months ago the vaneer has started to peel again! we have called 6 times and had three appointments missed by the fitter. Last week he called to say he was coming and had the tops arrived, we said no they send them to you to bring as they advised. He said no they are sending the directly to you. So hence we are still waiting. A week later after further calls we have had no one return our call. The after service is shocking and an utter dissapointment. Mrs Laking”

“Excellent designer for our bedroom & home office - came up with some good solutions. The fitter was also good - a very accomplished craftsman and cleaned up well! The excess panels & rubbish were collected on the designated day - but only after I had rung to say that it had not been cleared - as promised by fitter. We are very pleased with the result of both installations - only small gripe is that after 3 months use some of the wardrobe doors are not closing shut as well as they had been.”

“Solution found and an excellent job done by the designer and installation team. This was what is known as a builders wardrobe - built-in within internal breeze block walls. Sharps designed a way of fitting new doors plus a wardrobe kit with shelves, draws and hanging that totally modernised the room whilst improving the efficiency of the space. Highly recommended.”

“We have just had wardrobes fitted into both our bedrooms and I really cannot relate to all the bad reviews! We moved into this property on July 24th and arranged for the designer to come on the 27th. He spent over 3 hours designing our bedrooms to suit. The surveyor came out 2 weeks later and the delivery was planned on that day for August 24th. Work started the following day and was completed by 6pm on the 26th to our satisfaction. I think a lot of people don't read the given information. It clearly states that old wardrobes should be removed and any decorating of the walls undertaken prior to fitting. Apart from a couple of spare shelves and a few bits of panelling all the rubbish was taken the day the fitter completed. Maybe we were at an advantage as we have used the company before and I do think the product is probably not as good quality as it was then, but I would certainly recommend them. In fact the designer is back next week as I forgot drawer units for the guest room!”

“Further to my previous slating review, I went ahead with sharps after a discounted price. To be fair the fitter whom is self employed was excellent, the designer also good as were the delivery team..... though they did cause serious damage! I like other customers are still waiting on the remnants being picked up. its now day 8 and still no communication form sharps. It seems to be very hit and miss with this company but don't believe what they tell you, nothing is cut to measure its all done in your house, dust, mess and noise....constant.”

“Everybody needs to know that there still exists a company that keeps its word, arrives on time and delivers its promises. Each stage of the plan from catalogue visual to fitted item was conducted with professionalism, mainly due to the experienced staff. Sharps employees are Adults who know their job! They all have good communication skills which goes far to allay the anxieties of a nervous customer letting a company take over their home. Many of us have had previous experience of poor workmanship. The installation was solid with a neat finish exactly to the plan, and no mess left behind. Have I been dreaming?”

“We needed to update our spare bedroom and wanted a simple fitted wardrobe with sliding doors. Initially I had planned to do the work myself but Sharps had a sale and we asked for a salesman to call to see what they could offer. Essentially he asked "how much are you prepared to spend" so I gave him a figure and he came up with an acceptable design. Some time later the surveyor came to detail the design with full dimensions and then the parts were delivered by a couple of very careful delivery chaps. In the meantime I had removed the existing built-in and other furniture to leave a bare bedroom and had decorated the wall and ceiling that would become the back and roof of the wardrobe. Not long afterwards the young contract fitter came to build the wardrobes. He was friendly and talkative and did an excellent job of building the bespoke wardrobes, a far better job than I would have done and in a fraction (2 days) of the time I would have taken. The overall result is excellent with the only disappointment being that the access to the top storage shelves is slightly smaller than we had expected. All in all it had been a fairly painless experience and the end result very acceptable. All the Sharps and related personnel were great. The expenditure was more than I would have spent for a DIY job but I was saved so much effort and frustration it was well worth it.”

“Excellent from start to finish. I was extremely pleased with the ability of the sales person to understand my concept and build on it into a detailed plan. The quality of the materials and workmanship were also really excellent. I am really thrilled with the finished product, turning a room into a fantastic bedroom with so much usable storage. I would highly recommend Sharps Bedrooms.”
