“I use the Didcot branch of Scrivens and find all staff very efficient, friendly and personable always, they are always very happy to assist and or resolve any requirements that may arise.”

“Had to wait two weeks for the glasses and when I received them they were bent so had to be returned and waited a further week. Staff were very pleasant though.”

“Jaz my optician and his assistant Elaine at the Maidenhead branch are extremely thorough, friendly and helpful. It is always a pleasant experience having mine and my daughters eye tests there. They treat each individual with care and understanding. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”

“The office in Hoe Street London E17 seems to be slipshod, thoughtless and disorganised. Smiles and apologies can't compensate for shambolic management and customers should perhaps think carefully before using this particular branch. They might be better served by a more professional one. I'll be writing in more detail to Nicholas Georgevic and the customer care team in Birmingham. This is just a warning heads-up.”

“I didn't get a txt when glasses were ready. I even called in and was told they weren't ready! I paid far too much for the glasses and will go elsewhere next time and get a better deal. Your hearing rooms are very noisy and so its hard to concentrate/hear.”

“All the staff I saw on my visit were very polite, kind & helpful. Even helping me choose between 2 pairs of glasses when I couldn't decide! I was given advice on the best type of frame as my glasses were for driving.😊”

“Excellent staff in the Swadlincote branch, some of whom have been there for a long time which helps maintain the local familiar charm of the place - in particular Gaynor comes to mind. I have lived overseas a few times and retain my scheme, currently living in Switzerland. The staff are fully supportive of this and accommodating with travel plans and appointments. An extra level of remote support has come from Dee Dixon, going over and beyond expectations with how to get my contact lenses to me. Thank you all, a personal service with an open mind goes a long way and well done, Trudie”
