“I've been going to Scrivens for about 20 years now for eye care and I always receive such a welcoming and friendly service from everybody. Scrivens is ideal whether you need something that is affordable or if you're looking for designer frames; their selection of frames are always diverse (adults and children's). They are also great at letting you know of any additional services that may be of interest, e.g. I used to wear contact lenses and when new/different options became available Scrivens always informed me. They are a lovely team of friendly people and Scrivens will always be my and my family's choice of Opticians!”

“I have been a customer of Scrivens for some time now and although I did try some where else briefly it could never match the personal service and care I received from my branch of Scrivens.”

“The eye test and service was excellent. I ordered 3 pairs of varifocals in 3 different tints and was told they would take 2-3 weeks. 2 pairs took 4 weeks, and I am still waiting for the 3rd pair. I was disappointed to discover that I had been charged an additional £30 + VAT for each pair for using my own frames. This was not explained at any time. On the whole this was a good and friendly experience, but very expensive. Would I go back? I’m not sure.”

“I received fantastic customer service. The ladies made me feel comfortable trying glasses on and gave me honest opinions. They always help as much as they can. My 4 year old also recently got glasses and they made the experience fun for him.”

“I had to bring forward my eye test due to other specs coating breaking down. Jo couldn't have been more helpful. I always have trouble with my glasses on initial set up but perfect this time.”
