“A very good eye test by AJ, I was made to feel calm & relaxed. The staff in Scrivens, Bilston are always very helpful I would definately recommend them to anyone”

“Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I’ve also had hearing test, which was very informative. Very friendly.having recently moved to the area, I felt I’d known them for a long time. Now just waiting for my new glasses. I’m kept up to date through all processes. Would definitely recommend the Thirsk opticians”

“Booked an audiology test at my local surgury because I had a very bad experience 10 years since at another supplier. Chap was quite polite, told me I needed two hearing aids and they would be fitted in three weeks. Showed me the audio gram. NO OTHER INFORMATION SUPPLIED at this meeting. When I got home I called the main contact number and asked for a copy of the audio gram. It was emailed to my correct email address but the email introduction was to someone entirely different. Not impressed. Also the audio gram only has my name , with no other reference, no nhs number, no date of birth. When I presented this to my (then go) he was not impressed, nearly all nhs graphs scans etc etc carry name and dob as a minimum. I will go back for the fitting appt, but I am not happy as after talking to my go I understand that I can no longer be referred to audio services at a hospital the referral has to go to spec savers, and their personnel have lied to me previously about both optical and aural issues.. Not a happy customer, but going to have to give them another go. We shall see.”

“Having recently moved to the area, broken my only pair of glasses and not yet transferred over to my new branch, I rushed into my new local branch in Stapleford, Nottingham and the 2 ladies in there could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Jean in particular went over above, immediately transferring my records over, helping me pick a lovely new pair glasses and sorting me out with contacts in the interim, all with a very quick turn around time! I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received here, very happy customer, thanks to such lovely and efficient staff! Thanks again!”
