“I had my first experience of Scrivens last week. I have to say that it was an eye opening experience. The optician was top notch and was able to give a detailed explantion of the causes of problems I have experienced in recent years. More importantly, he took the time to do this. I was impressed my the fact that they happily reglazed my second pair of much loved specs, and suggested a reactalight coating which would work in-car as well as outdoors. I haven't picked up my new specs as yet but you just know when everything is in place, for wearing the best fit, the most appropriate coating, and the lense type which suits my everyday needs. New experience, fabulous feeling about 'money well spent' as they have a good offer on second pair. I'd forgotten the benefits of using an independent optician. Very satisfied with my visit.”

“Had a routine appointment for hearing aid service, this includes checking the hearing aid appliance and changing the tubes, whilst I was waiting I had an eye screening this was very helpful, their was a new piece of equipment and they were very thorough throughout I then saw the optician who did all the required tests, this wasn’t rushed and they took it at a good pace, clear and concise explained procedure and what the outcome, I then was passed onto a me,ever of staff called a Mike, he helped me choose some spectacles from the range No pressure, but appreciated advice of styles whilst choosing, costs for frames had a good choice , depending on your budget. I needed distance and reading . Throughout I felt at ease and would recommend others to try Scrivens, ,”

“Excellent service at every stage, from my eye test through selecting suitable frames and finally fitting - Midsomer Norton. I now hair a pair of glasses which I can wear for everything from driving, looking at my computer and reading”

“EVERY ONE INVOLVED MADE IT SO EASY AND PLEASENT FOR AN 80 YEAR OLD.I WAS PLEASED WITH THE EYE TEST WHICH WAS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL I HAVE EVER HAD, THE YOUNG LADY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN IT ALL. I THEN ORDERED THREE PAIRS OF GLASSES AND BOOKED A CONTACT LENS TEST WITH A VIEW OF REPLACEING MY CURRENT ONES AND LOOK FORWARD TO IT. I HOPE THE NEW GLASSES AND CONTACTS ARE AS GOOD AS EXPECTED AS I AM SURE THEY WILL BE. MANY THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF AND LOOK FORWARD TO MEETINGTHEM ALL AGAIN. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO THEM ALL.”
