“Easy to book an appointment online. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Optician did a fantastic job during my eyesight test. Got an audio test as well. Very happy with the service and support.”

“This company is a disgrace. Not dementia friendly. They have left my grandad with 0 hearing aids for over 3 weeks pending (despite reading other reviews where they replace hearing aids immediately… including spares) and refuse to discuss/ make appointments with family members… even though they have met my grandad so can clearly understand how hard it his for him to do these things himself. He cannot drive, he finds it hard to understand things… and He CANNOT HEAR. Their customer service team are rude. I would avoid if you are looking for somewhere that is capable of respect for the dementia community. On another note… my grandad is now ill and cannot understand/answer doctors questions because he cannot hear… luckily the drs don’t have a problem talking with a patients family.”

“Hello people reading this review, if you need your eyes tested and live in Didcot or near you won't go wrong visiting Scrivens. It's a good clean shop and everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I rarely do reviews but 'seeing' as it was an enjoyable experience (funnily enough, having my eyes tested for the first time) they deserve a 5*”

“I would really like to thank all the staff at scrivens for everything they have done for me .helping me to get new glasses and getting my hearing aids it's like a different world being able to see clearer and to hear people and things around me .I would recommend scriven to anyone .on my behalf and my partner James crosses behalf thank you all”

“I have been a Scrivens customer for many years now. I have always found them helpful and efficient. Recently I had a problem with my current pair of specs and I dropped into the Ripon branch where the problem was assessed and corrected there and then. I have always found the staff helpful and cheerful.”

“The service I got from the branch in Weston-super-Mare was brilliant so helpful in there even before I was a customer had a problem with one of my hearing aids needed a new tube in one of them as had broken they put new tubes for free where spectators didn't want to know so I now use them for glasses as well as hearing aids you can't beat good customer services when you need it”
