“Good review new glasses required a little on the expensive side for one pair of glasses were not offered another pair for half price Was offered a voucher for M&S still waiting for voucher”

“Having never used Scrivens before I booked an eye test at the Ripon branch of Scrivens in March 2019. I was pleasantly surprised to be informed by the optician that my eyesight had improved slightly in comparison to my previous prescription. I was given professional advice in choosing the correct fit for my new frames with varifocal lenses. Overall I was impressed by the friendly yet professional manner of all of staff . A big thank you to Scrivens, Ripon branch.”

“My 7 year old son was very nervous about his eye test but the staff were so helpful and friendly he was ok about it. I also had my eyes tested and found them very professional and also put me at ease.”

“Unfortunately my glasses have had to be returned because after the first time of wearing I noticed one of the diamante stones was missing and another seemed not to be set properly. Also the nose bar wasn't level. The left nose piece was also uncomfortable. As you can imagine I was very disappointed, I feel that the quality of the goods is unacceptable for the price paid (£693 less £100). I would like to point out that the staff have been very helpful and have returned the goods to resolve the problems.”

“They are extremely helpful and caring at the Scrivens in Winton. I had a problem with my glasses and they were straight on to it and sorted it out. I would certainly recommend their services.”
