“I booked my yearly appointment and was given a date that suited me. I had a phone call to tell me that my glasses were in and ready to be picked up and I was very pleased as it was less than a week in total. Very efficient store and happy to stay with them.”

“Staff were helpful & optician explained everything clearly. Glasses were of good quality but quite expensive in my opinion. As I am now retired O needed to keep the price reasonable. I picked the mid price range & l am pleased with the results.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. The testing was very thorough and everything was explained. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Glasses were available in 7 days. Would recommend.”

“Went to Scrivens today,. I have asked if they could replace a missing screw on my glasses, they had to phone the lab and I was told it would cost £25 and they had to send glasses to the lab as they are designer. The same thing happened in the past very expensive and uninterested Scrivens, service below 0 on both branches I went, the assistant was more interested to make me an appointment for an eye test.”

“I have used Scrivener for many. I have not been tempted to go elsewhere ears because I have always been more than happy with the efficient and professional treatment I have received for both eyesight and hearing problems.”

“Having previously had the service of Scrivens and been very happy with the result, my current experience was just perfect. In particular the care and understranding of the optician in providing the required precription was detailed and has provided me with the excellent long vision I longed for in support of my nature watching activities. I now have, with the fine adjustment made to my distant vision presciption, the perfect long vision I have not had since childhood! The service by all in the Wimborne branch of Scrivens was always most courteous and supportive. I can, without reservation, recommend this to all!”

“Delighted with the new combination of Distance / middle distance bi-focals and separate readers. Quality lightweight lenses with Transition which is useful outside. Very good service in store; helpful and friendly staff.”

“I was served by the Branch Manager, Louisa Register. She was pleasant and professional and gave me so much help in choosing my new frames. She showed a good knowledge of the products on offer which was a real help as these were my first ever spectacles. This is a welcoming and friendly store.”
