“The girls in branch could not be more friendly and helpful. Very informative. Really know what they are talking about and how to explain it in a way I can understand. Thank you to the staff at bishop Auckland.”

“Very sorry to say but I did not think the usual care was taken over my prescription this time. I had to return to ask for it to be altered and so buy new glasses. Bruce Keeble”

“I have been a customer for some years and have always found the service exceptional. Good choice of frames and lenses and help was there when I needed hearing aids. The staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable and appointments can always be made to suit the customer. No complaints from me😊”

“The service at Scrivens is absolutely amazing. A real five-star service. Very helpful staff patient and for the first time an optician where I found frames that I really liked. Superb service and have recommended people to use your service.”

“Stratford Road Shirley branch staff welcoming, and knowledgeable. What I particularly noticed was the efficient use of time deployed in that no-one was kept waiting for appointments, whilst walk-ins were engaged and informed until more time was available for them. Branch clean, and well laid out given the limited space. Ample choice of frames, with excellent assistance given by the team as to suitability etc”

“The receptionists at Haywards Heath Branch are always pleasant and helpful and we receive reminders of our appointments by phone or email. They will also give a fair opinion when choosing frames”

“It is a good service and ladies are really helpful but I do resent being phoned twice to ask if I wanted another pair of glasses for half price I can only just afford one pair”

“I have been coming to Scrivens and its predecessors in Didcot for eye care for over thirty years. I have found them unfailingly kind and helpful as well as professionally excellent. The staff remember me and - a real plus - do not pressure me to spend more than is necessary.”
