“This concerns your Lymington branch: having been prescribed and supplied with EAR AIDS (as my little grandson calls them!), I was delighted. Then I had a problem with one. Into the branch, two busy ladies sprang into action and my aids were given an M.O.T., I know what to do another time, and I am a happy bunny. Thank you for such brilliant, cheerful service”

“Optician insisted that I came back that morning for eye pressure and retina checks. He caught a serious pressure change and got me an urgent hospital referral for glaucoma. This may have saved my eyes from serious damage. I can only give top marks for his thoroughness.”

“I have been going to Scrivens Opticians for many years. About 10 years ago the optician found I had cataracts and arranged for me to have them removed in hospital. I have recommended Scrivens to other people in the past. The service continues to be excellent, as I found in my most recent visit there.”

“would highly recommend Scrivens for both hearing and eye tests..the staff are highly trained and treat you like a friend not a number like other places...both myself and my husband go to scrivens and wouldnt go anywhere else...if you want friendly service and lovely staff then give them a go....you wont regret it”

“As always we were very happy with our Scrivens service (at the Mill Hill Branch). Testing was thorough and very professional and when it came to dispensing there was no hard sell, just friendly and helpful service. We are very happy with Scrivens.”

“Unfortunately or fortunately due to circumstances had to change my Opticians, so for convenience chose Scrivens . Booked an eye test , had eye test , chose new fames etc . While still there optician came out , looked concerned called me back in retested my eyes found a small discrepancy , my mistake and reagusted my prescription . Found the whole experience and advice , especially advice the best ever and that's considering I had been using another practice for over 50 years . The staff and optician were to be commended .”

“I visited Ely Branch yesterday. ALL the staff were very helpful, patience and kind, They helped me 5 months ago to choose a cheap pair of glasses for between ops. Yesterday I had my test after my second op, and they helped me choose a frame and make chooses to what I had as extras, they were very helpful again with a polite, patient happy manner. Thank you Ely staff first class.”

“Scrivens in Ringwood are outstanding in my opinion: they are friendly, helpful without being patronising and always seem to be willing to help more than the norm. I arrived early the other day because it was so cold, yet was greeted warmly and given a cup of coffee. I watched all the staff treat their customers with dignity, respect, patience and expertise. Their contact lens specialist is just as excellent, as she listens carefully and tailors the variables to my needs. I have been in many, many bad opticians and some good ones, but none offer the outstanding service that this one does.”

“I booked an appointment 4 weeks in advance, to have it cancelled the day before by them with no explanation. The very polite lady said it was possible to rearrange the appointment, but as I am concerned it might happen again I will be going elsewhere for my eye and hearing tests.”

“The optician & woman on front desk were lovely. The lenses are extremely expensive & I had to pay to use my own glasses. They said they would be done in a week but we’re more like 2. When I received them were are very thick & don’t fit into the glasses frames. It looks ridiculous. I payed £189 all together for the lenses and charged me £30 for using my own glasses and they won’t refund me & I won’t even wear them. What a rip off”
