“This was my first time using Scrivens, and I can honestly say that the team at the North Finchley branch is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Stephen, Samantha, and Darren were incredibly welcoming and provided me with excellent guidance throughout the process.”

“Kind, knowledgable attentive and skilled staff. Service was very efficient and fully explained at each step of the Eye and Hearing test and positive unpushy advice given regarding prescription and requirements going forward.”

“The branch at Winton Bournemouth I can only give a 5 star review. My husband and I went to visit last week. Everyone was so friendly and made both my husband and I very welcome. The team explained as each of us went through our eye test what they were doing and why. Nothing was rushed and when it came to choosing frames again the team were very helpful. We have been to other High street branches of other National opticians over the years but I have never had such a personal experience. In the past it has felt as though you (the customer is just a number) not the case with the Winton team. Thank you to you all for making both of us feel like a customer not just a number.”

“Quite honestly the best customer service I’ve had and a massive improvement on the last visit I had here. The team seems to be a lot bigger & younger now which is refreshing and a lot more attentive and no longer transactional. The optician was brilliant and it felt like a more personable approach in the examination. He had a really lovely energy and was great with my little one, letting her look at some of the equipment and get involved! Following this the ladies who helped me pick out some frames also helped entertain my small daughter between them so I could have some time selecting. They also gave her some colouring. It was really refreshing to have this level of customer service especially as a solo parent as it can be very stressful trying to juggle! I’ll be sticking with Scrivens now as after my last visit I did then go back to Specsavers! Thankyou for winning me back over! Cant wait for my new glasses”

“Easy to get a convenient appointment. Everything happened on time. The optician was very efficient and explained each process thoroughly. Help was given to choose appropriate frames and care taken to measure me up for a good fit.”

“Having had a very poor experience with one of your competitors I was put at ease by the helpful staff ( jennifer ) and she gave a very good description of what was going to happen. The optician was especially calming and professional and the process was stress free. When I returned to purchasing my spectacles jen was very helpful and I felt not just trying to sell a particular set . All in all the staff were excellent and I would highly recommend them”

“Just had an eye test in the Banbury branch - excellent!! All the staff were friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I need a new prescription so all the options were explained and help given choosing new frames. Well done everyone!”
