“The staff are brilliant, mite not have every style of glasses in store but do have a good selection but the customer care is 1000% the best, i wouldn't go anywhere else very friendly very helpful and listen an pay attention to detail, you won’t be disappointed, the young ladies helped me change my glasses even advised to change them when next pair came had them on couple of hours an changing them was the best advice I’m so so happy with my new glasses 28 days thing that offered if you don’t like your glasses you can change them brilliant”

“I have been a customer of Scruvens for a few years. I have bought both glasses and hearing aids. Today I ,for once caught the bus, to a 4pm appointment for the update of my Bernafon hearing aids. The bus was late, and obviously I arrived late, 12 minutes to be exact. I was the verbally thrown out as I through no fault of my own thrown out of the Havant branch. Not a soul was waiting, and no reason was acceptable. Disgusting.”

“The service, professionalism, and commitment to individual customer satisfaction at your Bury St Edmunds branch are superb. They are an example not just to the Optician/Hearing industry but to any business that relies on reputation. I will never go anywhere else.”

“I walked up to the branch in Clifton (Bristol) this morning, having first checked the opening days & times, only to find it closed. I wanted to go there because I need help with my glasses and I’ve heard great things about the Clifton Scrivens team from a neighbour. It was disappointing to find a notice on the door saying it was closed. I hope it’s not due to sickness, it seems unlikely as I’ve noticed that there are usually several people working there. I guess I’ll have to try elsewhere, which is a shame. I hope your normal good service will be resumed soon. I’ve given 3 stars as I believe the service to normally be good and hopefully this is a rare exception.”

“My experience visiting Scrivens was excellent. The Optician was very thorough and answered all my questions so I understood the whole process easily. I have since received an appointment to have my pressure checked at the eye hospital in October which I think was overdue thank you .”

“What a lovely service I received at my appointment. The two girls on the desk were brilliant and so friendly. The optician was really nice and explained things so well. Such a lot of choice of frames and such a good price. Thank you all so much. Will recommend to all my friends and family.”

“Room for improvement/training. Had an eye test and ordered varifocals from the Fordhouses store in Wolverhampton. When i came to collect them the reading area was far too low. Saw a gentleman who explained the issue and remade them. I was pleased so ordered another pair which the same gentleman sorted for me. 3 stars as i had to come back 2/3 times and none of the other staff knew what to do. I think its inconvenient to visit multiple times before you can speak to someone who knows what they’re doing”

“Unbelievably great service from Nina at Clifton (Bristol) branch in accommodating my 93 year old Aunt for an emergency appointment! She very quickly understood the problem that my Aunt was facing and was able to negotiate to move another patient to a different time to accommodate this emergency. My thanks to that patient also!”
