“Visited Wolstanton High Street Scrivens for my annual eye and contact lense check. Holly was helpful and informative. The opticians was thorough and explained any issues. Especially when he found a bleed behind my eye. Reporting straight away to the hospital for a referral. Thank you all.”

“Went to Scrivens in Stafford for ear suction, had to go back as I still had wax on eardrum, went back checked my ear said he couldn’t do it needed irrigation, was left worse than when I went. Would not recommend. Had to go elsewhere who were more professional and sorted me out”

“Turned up to the Thirsk branch for my appointment but it was closed. Rang Head Office but they did not know why it was closed and did not even know the town of Thirsk. I went elsewhere as had been preparing for ear wax removal. No contact since to arrange another appointment and no apology. Poor customer service.”

“I recently registered with Scrivens, only because action for deafness have ceased, and have been desperate to get replacement left ear domes and when I did EVENTUALLY get them they were way too large despite the fact I had to email them a photo of my old ones and even gave them a precise measurement.”

“I recently went to Scrivens in Tamworth for my free NHS hearing test. Both Michaela and Hayden were very helpful and within less than an hour my hearing loss had been measured and I walked out of there on the day with my own Free NHS hearing aids, personally adjusted to suit my needs. I recommend Scrivens and the Team 100%. Thankyou Tony from Polesworth”

“I called in to chapel en le frith branch with a pair of broken glasses after a bad road accident. I apologised that they were bought elsewhere but couldnt get due to my health. No problem, so nice staff. Warned me might break them but was successful. Would take no payment but put money in charity box. Would not hesitate in using this optician again.”

“I went to Scrivens Opticians North Finchley this morning as my elderly mother, who has advanced Alzheimer's, needed the nosepads replaced on her glasses. Mum is in the advanced stages of dementia and keeping her remaining two pairs of glasses working and wearable is imperative, as she is no longer able to sit for an eye test. The young woman who served me was absolutely lovely, replaced the nose-pads quickly, and cleaned the glasses for me. Her professionalism and kindness have made my day.”

“Received cordial welcome and appointment on time. The ocptomiterist was very thorough and explained all the options and necessary treatment resulting in an early post op assessment for further treatment remedy. Would highly recommend this optician.”

“I had an eye test and found Suhayl the optician fantastic, he was very informative and friendly. All of the staff were amazing. After previously using other opticians, I found this experience much more pleasant and was excited to get my new glasses and even tried varifocals. I will definitely be using Scrivens Swadlincote again!!!”

“The staff in Milton Keynes were super helpful! The Optician took time to explain everything she was doing and really put my mind at rest about the health of my eyes. Akta the manager helped me to find frames and looked after me; she was really kind and helpful. I am very happy with my visit.”

“I saw Mary the audiologist at Kentish Town. Mary explained what would happen at the appointment - the way she spoke to me was so friendly and attentive - it was like talking to a friend. Mary carried out the hearing test in a professional manner and explained things throughout the appointment. The hearing aids were caliberated and fitted the same day, thank you Mary for all your help.”

“Appointment at Scrivens Kings Heath today, an excellent visit. Receptionist welcoming and courteous, Dan, the audiologist was very professional and helpful; took time to ensure that my hearing aids were functioning as well as possible and revised the settings for optimal efficiency. “I have now taken delivery of my chosen hearing aids following really good advice from Haley. After having them set up and tested then shown how to get the best from them I felt very confident using them. They have made a big difference to how I hear things, lower volumes and more clarity. No doubt they may need a few tweeks but a visit to Haley will sort it. Yet again thank you to the wonderful staff at Alfreton.”

“I popped into scrivens today for a routine eye test. This has been my opticians for over 10 years and they have always been really accommodating. I was welcomed by Becky who was absolutely lovely. I was seen very quickly and the optometrist was really helpful. He listened to all my questions and gave me useful feedback. I needed new glasses so becky and her colleague assisted me. They were both super helpful and friendly! I’ve found a shape that suits me and couldn’t be more greatful for their help this afternoon! I couldn’t fault the service or staff, I would always recommend scrivens😊”
