“The staff in Milton Keynes were super helpful! The Optician took time to explain everything she was doing and really put my mind at rest about the health of my eyes. Akta the manager helped me to find frames and looked after me; she was really kind and helpful. I am very happy with my visit.”

“I saw Mary the audiologist at Kentish Town. Mary explained what would happen at the appointment - the way she spoke to me was so friendly and attentive - it was like talking to a friend. Mary carried out the hearing test in a professional manner and explained things throughout the appointment. The hearing aids were caliberated and fitted the same day, thank you Mary for all your help.”

“Appointment at Scrivens Kings Heath today, an excellent visit. Receptionist welcoming and courteous, Dan, the audiologist was very professional and helpful; took time to ensure that my hearing aids were functioning as well as possible and revised the settings for optimal efficiency. Thank you for such a positive experience. DR Vaughan”

“I have now taken delivery of my chosen hearing aids following really good advice from Haley. After having them set up and tested then shown how to get the best from them I felt very confident using them. They have made a big difference to how I hear things, lower volumes and more clarity. No doubt they may need a few tweeks but a visit to Haley will sort it. Yet again thank you to the wonderful staff at Alfreton.”

“I popped into scrivens today for a routine eye test. This has been my opticians for over 10 years and they have always been really accommodating. I was welcomed by Becky who was absolutely lovely. I was seen very quickly and the optometrist was really helpful. He listened to all my questions and gave me useful feedback. I needed new glasses so becky and her colleague assisted me. They were both super helpful and friendly! I’ve found a shape that suits me and couldn’t be more greatful for their help this afternoon! I couldn’t fault the service or staff, I would always recommend scrivens😊”

“This is not a complaint about service the shop assistants were very helpful The hearing aids I was given were no use to me as I could not get the batteries in or out as I have very arthritic fingers and I live on my own I asked for plug in ones but was told not on NHS so I have had to buy private ones What a waist of money for NHS for an extra few £s I am sure there are others like me”

“Morning All, I had my earing test on Friday 31 October at Hamstead Branch. What can I say, well on entering the shop I was greeted by a very professional young lady ,who took my details . Then time for my test. Moehamed was the man in charge today. This Man was so good at is job. First he showed me my results from the test. And explained everything to me from start to finish. And he answerd all my questions. He set up my new earing aids and that was me all done walking out with earing aids. Thanks to all the team at Hamstead, Most of all thank you Moehamed for listening to me and being excellent at your job. I can't wait to get home and pair my earing aids to my phone. Yes they are Bluetooth, app download really pleased, NHS aids as well Thanks again. 😊”

“Scrivens branch on Upper St Giles, Norwich have been looking after my eye care for some years now. All the staff are friendly and helpful and Judy the manager goes out of her way to give best care and service. Today I went in to get my 3 pairs of glasses adjusted after about 6months of wear. This comes as after care from buying glasses from the shop. I highly recommend this branch particularly.”

“Scrivens took over from Chime who lost the NHS contract in Exeter. I had had excellent service from Chime. Scrivens have given me appalling service, largely because staff are working with ancient or cheap system and computers. After my hearing test, computer crashed and lost all my data so had to re-do test. On my return to collect new hearing aids, system caused delays so I had to wait. The system could not print out my results so I had to photograph the computer screen (staff are not even able to email results to me). I was offered new hearing aids that I refused as they were much bigger, clunkier, more obtrusive and fiddly than my old ones - looked like an old design in comparison. I do not recommend Scrivens.”
