“Disappointed to find that my first choice for Variofocals was not as I had picked I chose first pair as pink and second pair to include sunglasses were blue. My first choice ones had been made up as another blue pair. I was told my pink choice was not specified correctly for me on screen. However my husband has chosen the pink for me and we remember pink was specified. On the pick up day , they swapped the first pair for the frames still in store while I waited. Also I found there are numerous add-ons to choose all at extra cost. Glasses turned out much more expensive than I had expected to pay.”

“Had a very thorough eye exam from Lorna. The staff were friendly and helpful. Explaining my lens options and the store was covid secure making me feel safe. Thank you Peacehaven. 5 stars.”

“The ladies in the Witney branch are absolutely fantastic! They are very knowledgeable about their job. I enjoyed my experience going Scrivens for the very first! I’m definitely coming back next year! Thank you ladies for making it an amazing experience”

“Find the staff are unapproachable. They do not listen whether you are talking to them over the phone or in person. There’s no smile when greeting clients apart from one lady is of British/white nationality. Not happy with recent service received.”

“My eye test was excellent and explained thoroughly throughout the procedure. All the staff were friendly, knowledgable and polite. The glasses recommended have been just what I hoped for. I would not hesitate to recommend the Winton branch to my friends.”

“I felt welcomed in to the store as all the assistants said Hello how are you. I was treated with respect and helpfulness. The staff are all caring and pleasant. My only negative comment is the glasses cases they seem cheap and let down the quality of the glasses and service.”

“My spectacles from the previous year were porr quality and just did not stay on, so I was anxious to change. Recent eye test, new optician, all seemed to go well and was promising. Some extra care on frame choice too made it feel it could be different. The physical arrival was a bit of a mess, and then when I got the specs the prescription was not quite right-a downgrade from where I was. However the “old”pair were so awful that I have decided to keep the new ones, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY STAY ON.”
