“The young girls that work there are highly professional, patient, polite and kind. I cannot be happier. It is not typical now to find so nice and helpful people to work in the same shop. I would recommend them to everyone! IT IS MILL HILL BRANCH, EVEN IF YOU LIVE FAR AWAY THE JOURNEY WILL PAY OFF!”

“Excellent service! Thank you for seeing me so soon! My old glasses broke and my previous well known optician couldn't see me sooner than 3 months! I went to Scrivens, they were great! Only Scrivens from now on!”

“Always very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My eye test was very good and very informative as to my eyesight and my requirement and need for new glasses. The sales staff are very helpful ,made me feel at ease and did not rush me into choosing my glasses and explained all the options I had . In all the best opticians and will always use Scivens Opticians in the future.”

“I went for my NHS regular eyetest to check the health of my eyes. The optometrist took my details and history and immediately started an eye test. Although I was told several times that I didn’t need glasses, I felt pressured that reading glasses with a prescription would improve my vision. I reminded the optometrist at the end that I had come because wanted my eye health and a glaucoma pressure test done. This was all completed and I left.”

“My experience is always a pleasure at the Oldbury branch of Scrivens. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are also very supportive when I go in. They know what I do and don't like in frames. Before I leave the testing room, they are looking for frames they know I'll like. Lisa the manager was brilliant. Even the optiphalmologist put me at ease. I would highly recommend my branch of Scrivens to anyone. One more point that really impressed me, was the high standard of COVID19 measures Lisa took to make sure I was safe at all times.”

“I recently came in for a sight test in the Newmarket branch and received a very professional service throughout. I particularly like to see optometrist Angela Gibbs as she is extremely thorough and friendly. I cannot fault the service I received and was felt very safe with the COVID measures in place.”

“What went wrong! Mistake after mistake, error after error. A lesson in how to flannel customers. Lack of customer care and a blatant policy of preferring not to book you with an audiologist if at all possible; clearly a money-saving exercise, and a problem I never encountered before they got involved with the NHS. 90% customer satisfaction? Where do they get these figures? Now a month and my problem still hasn't been resolved, which means it is impossible for me to lead a normal life inasmuch that I cannot enjoy the quality of hearing that I could easily expect if they took my problem seriously and rectified it, which should take five minutes. Not only that, they couldn't even put the correct address on the envelope, which took a week to reach me. Having said that, when you eventually manage to see an audiologist, they are extremely good and very professional.”
