“I walked into the Deeping shop just wanting to make an appointment, the receptionist said that they could fit me in if I could wait 10 minutes. The optician was very professional going through my medical history etc. I came out about an hour later with a new prescription and frames ordered. Outstanding service.”

“Excellent service from Claire at Trinity medical centre. I got an appointment very quickly and was given a small hearing aid which has made a massive difference to me when I’m watching to or out with friends. Thank you”

“I was provided a hearing aid and advised to have some investigatory work by my GP as to why I had sudden hearing loss. The hearing aid provided was diffciult to deal with. I had the relevant investigatory work carried out. My GP referred me back to Scrivens to get the right hearding aid for my lifestyle. Apparently....Scrivens only provide one hearing aid on the NHS and I needed to get on with it! But yet their website has 6 different types and styles to suit your lifestyle. The lady was uneducated about the services, wouldnt make me an appointment and now I am left to find a hearing aid privately as she is adamant that Scriven (an NHS led Hearing specialist) cant provide! “I have worn glasses for over 60 years and the eye test that was given was bizzarre. It seemed that the optician had read my notes and decided what my prescription should be. He refused to listen and would not accept my answers. I am so dissatisfied that I am going for another eye test elsewhere.”

“I enjoyed a wonderful experience visiting my Corporation Street branch of Scrivens yesterday. I was seen by an extremely charming, professional and kind gentleman Omar Seedat. He was extremely helpful and certainly a tribute to his Company. Thank you kind Sir and to your welcoming staff members.”

“Excellent service and aftercare at Newark Scrivens. I was having some problems with my left eye and following an eye test , my Optician immediately referred me to Hospital. I was able to receive treatment within about 48hours. Would highly recommend this practice.”

“Service in the past has been great. The last appointment for myself and my wife was a disaster. The fault does not appear to have been with the staff in the shop but a system failure. We were in the shop for just over three hours while our orders for new glasses were being taken and all information had to be entered manually. It really is not good enough in the 21st century.”

“So far I have been delighted with my care at Scrivens. I recently had two cataract operations and am waiting for my new spectacles--3 pairs. The three members of staff who looked after me were all professional, kind and reassuring. I would recommend Scrivens to anyone.”
