“Chalk and cheese compared to competition Scrivens at three tuns, Wolverhampton are amazing and their service is second to non, my hearing aids which were recommended to me completely revolutionised my life, I'm hearing sounds I haven't heard for years and now have better hearing with them, than most people I know, plus when using Google I now have super powers...I can turn on and off lights. TV and heating with them, I can have have conversations on the phone even in noisy places by tapping my ear, and foreign languages no problem, I can hear them in English! I can do speech to text and ask any questions I need answering. But back to the service, my specialist and all the staff in the store and very supportive, helpful and fully understand my needs. Don't go to others, you'll only be disappointed as I was before going to Scrivens. Oh and they also do 0% finance, quick delivery and plenty of follow up appointments to check they are right for you.”

“I was first seen by one of Scrivens' audiologists on 6th January this year (2023) when I was told I could have a new pair of hearing aids to replace the ones I had from my previous supplier. On Monday 16th October, after having seen numerous audiologists, I saw yet another one who, after making some adjustments to my aids ( I think these were the 6th pair!) told me there were limits as to what could be done with NHS equipment! Not impressed at all!!”

“My husband and I had an eye test there, the staff was very friendly and professional. They communicated very well, and explained everything in full. I have to have my one lense frosted and it was so much cheaper there than what I had been paying. I also had my ears tested there and had my hearing aids straight away she showed me the graph and explained everything to me.”

“I have been given hearing aids that are too difficult for me to use . I have been to my local shop several times and have asked to have the original type of hearing aids . but they seem unable to cope with this . I am 87 and not very skilful now I am quite deaf and would be very grateful if i could have useable hearing aids Anne Kaye”

“Reading all the other costumers reviews im the only one not happy for my eye test. When I had my test the optician is rude and the test is too past for me. And she talk to me like a kid. I’m shocked! I mentioned to my partner about my bad experience that day, he said exactly the same description of the lady optician. My son 8 years old had an eye test same lady my partner notice as well but he ignored. She’s rude! Don’t keep the kind of staff like that you loosing your costumers.”

“Just had my 2 year annual eye test. Was surprised that now I'm 60 I get my test for free. I arrived really early for test but luckily they had been a cancellation so was seen to straight away. The lady who served me was really polite & friendly putting me at ease. The optician was efficient & professional. Overall it was a very good experience with very nice people. I was able to order 2 new pairs of glasses at a reasonable price. Would recommend them every time.”

“Definitely sticking with Scrivens after my experience. They were much more thorough than other opticians, didn't rush me when doing the exam and choosing glasses. Feel much more satisfied paying for glasses I actually like and need!”

“Received a 5 star eye test and no problem with my spectacle prescription. Reasonable prices but unfortunately was not able to take advantage of the offer of 2nd pair half price, as one pair was reading and 2nd pair distance. Maybe Scrivens should review this policy. Iwould highly recomnend Scrivens for an eye test. It was the best one I have experienced, and sales afterwards not too pushy like other places.”
