Collected new spectacles today and was greeted with a smile as usual from Akta. I have known Akta for many years and always feel that the service she delivers is personal. Akta is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. An asset and credit to Scrivens. Sue

I doo not like being constantly asked to review services from medical, banking, shops the lot. Often dozens a week.0

I have found that the tubes tend to flatten and I have problems hearing. I cannot adjust the volume on them

early days for my hearing aids, still testing different environmental results hopefully will soon go back to discuss any issues with my scrivener team. Cannot fault the service and care shown to me & my wife who incidentally ended up not needing hearing aids 100% recommend this organisation.

I HAVE HAD MY HEARING AIDS FOR ABOUT 12 MONTHS AND I HAVE JUST FILLED IN MY QUESTIONNAIRE, BUT THERE WAS NOWHERE FOR COMMENTS. PERHAPS I CAN USE THIS REVIEW FOR A COMMENT. THE THING IS THEY ARE VERY GOOD APART FROM ONE THING, THE TUBE THAT GO FROM THE EAR PIECE TO THE MAIN PART BEHIND THE EAR GOES FLAT AND THIS IMPAIRS THE VOLUME SO I HAVE TO KEEP ADJUSTING THE VOLUME THEN I GET HIGH PITCH WHISTLES , WHEN I AM IN COMPANY IT IS VERY EMBARRASSING. APART FROM THAT THEY ARE VERY GOOD.

I visited your Widnes store this week and was seen to by Vanessa Jones. I was seen to on time by Vanessa and cannot praise her enough. She was helpful, knowledgeable and had a really good manner which I was grateful for as this was my first hearing test. She carefully went through the pre test questionnaire followed by the test itself. Then went through the types of hearing aides fitting and after care. My husband was with me and he has NHS hearing aides and she had quick look at them explaining how perhaps she could improve quality with a private set. he said he was impressed and would probably make an appointment. All in all I would describe her as a valuable asset to your business with they way I was dealt with and her business acumen seeing an opportunity with my husbands hearing. Well done indeed

I attended the Willenhall branch of Scrivens for a routine check up of my hearing aids. I was met by Sophie who was courteous, put myself and my wife at ease and we were so impressed by her knowledge and help that we both came out of her office "singing" her praises of an excellent service. This young lady was the best advisor we have ever met and cannot praise her enough. Hopefully you will pass on our comments to Sophie?

My wife and myself have been customers of your Wallasey Branch for a number of years now and have nothing but praise and good words to say about the staff at that branch each and every one.from manager down. My complaint and critisism lies up the command chain when dealing with repairs out of bramch and warranty dealings. Your consideration and dealing with my issues from day one on problems with very expensive hearing aids for both myself in particular and lately my wifes hearing aids has been far below the standard and service anyone would accept. From day one of purchase my HAs have not been suitable or worked as I had hoped. They have broken in the same place twice, unkown as to why, sending off for repair takes forever to complete and get returned. During the whole period of problems the warranty expired and I am now told that the costs must be paid for by me to solve the problemsâť“ The same has happened to my wife, one aid is broken and has gone for repair. Now we are told warranty has expired and costs will be around ÂŁ190 for the repair. This despite being informed the warranty was still valid by the audiologist. Who again has been really helpful. Having spent several ÂŁ thousands. Trying to get hearing aids as needed and basically having more issues than not having hearing aids in, is utterly unacceptable. Your customer service leaves lots to question I am sorry to say. How do unsuitable hearing aids from day one run out of warranty if they have not had a remedy found to cure the issues. That us similar to buying a Rolls Royce and for years having problems then being informed your warranty had expired please pay for any other repairs or solutions!!! Also how does one department infom that a warranty is still valid and head office refuse to do the repair as warranty is not validâť“ At the moment my wife has use of one hearing aid which now fails to hold a charge longer than a few hours. The other is still away refusing to be repaired unless paid for!! I do not wear either of my aids as they are not acceptablble for use for me and after what they cost I refuse to be charged again over warranty issues. I am really disappointed writing this review as sadly it is not a local branch issue but purely down to head office/customer care issues.

Scrivens in Stamford PE9, have been brilliant. They are very supportive and welcoming and go the extra mile in ensuring their customers receive the very best of care and attention. They replaced my wires when the aids fell on the floor from the coffee table. I normally take them out in my bedroom and pop them in their cushioned covers, however this was an exception, whilst vacuuming. Much later, I found that the dog had chewed one. The other had disappeared, (possibly up the vacuum hose). I was happy to pay for replacements as it was my own fault, however they very kindly replaced them asap, even though I had only them for a very short time. Thankfully, the aids themselves were fine! Therefore, as a result of their excellence, I hope to obtaini my glasses from there, too. Thank you everyone; you are all great x Kind regards - Anne

I visited Rotherham branch for me and my little boy to have an eye test, after a bad experience at another opticians, all the staff was friendly the optician Robert that gave us our eye tests talked us through everything they was doing which made my son feel at ease, carina who did my glasses for me was very helpful, talked through all my options and was very thorough

I use your Havant branch, the staff there are very kind and professional, and they supplied me with a NHS hearing aid and batteries; and certainly go the extra mile. Other firms, simply wanted to charge me nearly ÂŁ7000 and were not as thorough as Scrivens; I can certainly recommend them.

Recent visit to market Deeping branch, my specs had broken, sight test available that day and new specs were ordered, they only took6/7 working days, very quick for transition varifocals. Can't complain about staff or service, my only criticism the staff member who dispensed and fitted specs at collection, could have interacted with me more, the branch wasn't busy either of my visits so no reason to rush me through the process, maybe being retired staff member I expected too much.
