“I have my eyes tested with Scrivens and the reading prescription just wasn't right for my, I had a second test with them again and I'm still having difficulty focusing on the reading. Hence, I had a another test at a different optiican and I was told that the reading prescription is not correct for my eyes also the fame is not the correct either. In this case I will be asking back for my money because the lenses wasn't cheap.”

“Great service and safety procedures in place. Only gripe is having to pay £30.00 because I used my own frame to have new lenses fitted”

“I’ve already completed a review. I feel quite upset with Scrivens on the basis when I brought my glasses I was not made aware of the offer which was on at the time. A none customer told me, when I queried it I was told only the manager could make the decision. I rang again after the bank holiday and was told only head office could make the decision if I should receive the offer, the offer which I should have been advised of at the time of me buying my glasses. I was phoned and told as a “goodwill jester” I would be given the offer!! My concern is as a valued customer I should have been given this offer, not as a goodwill jester, but because I had brought my glasses at the time the offer was on.”

“My first eye test last year 2019 was excellent, however the frames were faulty and it took nearly a whole year for one young girl to admit they couldn’t be adjusted as there had been a fault in the manufacturing of the frame. They were sent back and replaced with another pair which have been fine. I had a test today and felt the optician was unprofessional did not follow Covid rules. Masks are meant to be worn properly. I have sent a complain to your department but writing this to ensure other customers are aware.”
