“Went for eye test & new glasses. Staff were so attentive & helpful. I was in there for a good hour just choosing my frames with the help of ALL the staff. I have recommended friends & relatives to Scrivens. Say no more!”

“my glasses have bean back twice a third time is unacceptable, at extra cost I have ordered from some were else, if they are much better then I will be tacking your glasses back.”

“The eye test was very thorough but a 6 week delay waiting for glasses to return from having new lenses to my old frame was diabolical .”

“I am always looked after well at scrivens at ripley shop and I always get good advice from the lady who does the tests and the ladies who work there are very helpful helping me to choose some new frames ..”

“I have always had a good experience with the staff in the Havant branch of Scrivens. My most recent eye-test and purchase of a new pair of specs was as trouble-free as all previous tests and purchases. Special mention of Abby Warrington, being one of the most congenial operators in your store, as was Sandy before her. For heavens sake DO NOT change anything or anyone as you've got it right in the Havant branch...!!!”

“The eye and hearing tests at Scrivens, Westbourne, Bournemouth were the most thorough I have ever had. They were conducted in a very calm and caring way. The eye pressure test was gentle and I was easily able to keep my eyes open. All the people who conducted the tests were very efficient and professional. Afterwards I was helped to choose my frames for the glasses in an unhurried and helpful manner. I have great confidence in Scrivens and will definitely be returning there for future eye checks.”

“The professionalism was good but the prices were way too high. I only went with them because I could not get an appointment quickly with Tesco Opticians (now Vision Express), I was shocked by the bill even though I had chosen very average glasses.”

“Great lenses. Delighted with the clarity of my vision. Poor frame choice working through all the various makes on line made me give up. Used my old frame from another optician. Very concerned that when I need a new frame I may not find one in the shop I would be very sorry to not be able to use Scrivens.”

“I broke my glasses a day earlier and was due to fly out of the country 3 days later. I went to Scrivens hoping they would have the frames available for me to just pop my lenses in. The staff went above and beyond their call of duty to really help me out. I am ever grateful for the help I received on that day.”
