“the staff in the chesterfield store were helpful and friendly without being pushy. they ensured i got the best deal possible on two pairs of glasses and explained the costs as they went along. i now have eye-catching (no pun intended), designer reading specs that make me smile every time i put them on. there was no pressure to buy a second designer pair so my prescription sunnies are a much cheaper frame, but i had the same cheerful, personal service. thank you Scrivens.”

“I would like to thank the staff at your Winton branch. They are all so friendly as well as supplying me with perfect glasses. Customer service is 5 star. I left after having had a laugh and my sight better!! Thanks ladies!”

“Where do I start? Very pleasant and proffesional staff happy to take the time to assist me with my first pair of glasses. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a hearing test which lead to a further test which also was undertaken is a very friendly manor. I would have no issue promoting or recommending your services to others. Happy customernfor life. “Making the appointment online was very easy and the eye test and choosing the frames went smoothly. However, the problems started when I collected my new glasses. As soon as I put them on I knew they were not right for me because everything was blurred and I felt dizzy. I agreed to give them a try but every time I wore them it was the same which led to headaches. After a week I left work early to return the glasses but as the manageress wasn't there I was told that I would have to go back on the following Saturday. When I got there I was made to feel like I didn't know what I was talking about when I said that the glasses weren't right for me. Eventually it was decided that I would have to choose between being able to see the computer screen at work or being able to read. I chose the computer screen as I need to see the screen all day at work. When the new lenses were put into the frames they were fine for computer work but I can't wear them for any length of time for reading which is also necessary for my job so I still have to wear my old glasses for reading. So now I have to carry two pairs of glasses with me all the time.”

“Had an excellent eye test - very thorough & helpful. Needed new glasses which I purchased from Scrivens at a reasonable cost & they were ready in a couple of days. My only criticism is that the peripheral vision test goes on for too long - I stopped "looking " towards the end.”

“I received excellent advice and efficient and quick treatment. Hearing aids were supplied within one week and they were modern in design ,light and without the ear moulds which gave greater comfort.”

“Went for eye test & new glasses. Staff were so attentive & helpful. I was in there for a good hour just choosing my frames with the help of ALL the staff. I have recommended friends & relatives to Scrivens. Say no more!”

“my glasses have bean back twice a third time is unacceptable, at extra cost I have ordered from some were else, if they are much better then I will be tacking your glasses back.”
