“A letter and two phone calls to hustle me to the shop. Two and a half hours for the eye test. Three weeks wait for glasses. Pressured into buying extras which I had to return. And I am still waiting for a refund, been two weeks so far, told 5 to 7 days, go figure.”

“The staff were friendly, capable and new what they were doing. My wife and I were made welcome and the service was good. The speed of producing new glasses was excellent and was quicker than the estimated time.”

“I am really disappointed. I am thinking of what to do as i don't like the vision provided. I have terrible headache with these even after 1 week. I know that feeling you get when you wear new glasses, it takes 1 hour to get use to the new lenses. It's been 1 week and still not use to them.”

“Extremely helpful and pleasant staff, especially the manageress who always has a smile and will go out of her way to make the whole process as easy as possible whilst viewing the extensive range. Very pleased and will continue to go back to either purchase any future glasses or take future eye tests.”

“I’m very happy about my service at leyton Lea Bridge road branch all the lovely lady’s was very friendly and knowledgeable , I can’t thank you enough. I could tell all the team work hard and together to keep one of the biggest Scrivens stores running. The only downside was how old and outdated the store looks. Other then that I will definitely recommend team Lea Bridge road to my friends and family”

“I have had hearing aids fitted in the Blandford branch. It is wonderful to be able to hear what is being said to me and to listen to music again. It has taken a couple of visits to get the setting on the aids right for my particular hearing loss, but Grace, the audiologist has been conscientious, kind and patient. She has shown a professional determination to 'get it right' for me. I am so grateful for her skill and can only say a big thank you. All the staff are helpful and kind and show consideration for their clients. Thank you all.”

“I had an eye test couple weeks ago. The staff and optician were very friendly and polite they even helped me pick out my glasses for me. I was very happy with my time there and would recommend them.”

“I had been going to Specsavers for my NHS hearing aid tests and hearing aids. Found out that Scrivens also does the same and the difference is amazing. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Everything was explained in detail and I left hearing well for the first time since 2015. I would recommend this company to anyone needing assistance with their hearing. Just Excellent.”
