“I have been using Scrivens in Alsager now for over 20 years (as Julie Lovatt and Julie Harrison) and have always found them to be extremely professional and very helpful”

“spare dome etc.not posted as promised so unable to wear hearing aid for 2 weeks. I never had any delay getting spare parts from the hospital audiologist previously, they would post, or I could go any Wed to my local hospital, or any day to the district hospital. Sadly the local hospitals no longer offer a service for my level of moderate hearing loss. The woman I spoke to today on the Scrivens customer phone no. promised to post - so I hope they will arrive.”

“People in store/reception lovely,knowledgable,helped me find glasses that fit my face/I liked, optician seemed to have a stick lodged somewhere it shouldn't be, felt like during my eye exam i was putting him out trying to rush through test to get done quicker, sat in room for ages after as he typed up the results then after 5 minutes rang a buzzer to call in people from out side to take me out to main shop. (not sure why it was needed for me to just sit in room in silence as he filled information on computer??)”

“The staff were courteous and professional, the glasses are of good quality but I thought the price (not far short of £500) was horrendous. For that reason I don' t think I will be going back.”

“I purchased my glasses in December 2018 & have had to return them to the store on several occasions. This was due to errors making my lenses. I felt nervous returning to the store as it made me feel that I was questioning the staff's ability to do their job.”

“Service at Tonbridge Scrivens is more than exemplary. My Scrivens glasses in their case were run over, flattened ( I have the case as proof ), and the Tonbridge branch amazingly restored them to almost new condition, at no cost. The attendants are always most helpful. At Scrivens personal service is not a thing of the past.”
