I had my hearing test yesterday at Mill hill branch and the audiologist told me that you have sharp hearing loss in right ear and you need to see your GP urgently. He asked me that take the report and give it to your GP. Then he suddenly decide to post that letter to GP. Today I contacted my GP and they asked me for that report. When I contact scrivens to send me report they told me that it will take 10 working days. How can it be 10 working days if its urgent. I told then to send me the email so I can pass it to my GP and make the referral to consultant. The person Mr. nathan told me that it will take 10 working days for email as well. So poor people rely on post in this electronic era. Below they asking email address for verification.

Unfortunately and regretfully, Scrivdns Bakers arms, staff is very impolite, Refuse to hand over prescription after vision/sight test until get dilation test. Total black mailing. Please call me to listen full story. M iqbal 0791 220 6497 Thanks. Regards

Was told I was paying for three months contact lens supply,in fact I was paying for five months for three months supply. Beware none of this is mentioned in the contract or orally. Because I wasn't using them daily, I asked if I could just buy on a monthly basis told it wasn't possible. Paid for the first three months supply up front and it wasn't at any time I need to pay any extra.

I kept getting letters asking me to make an appointment I have tried numerous times to phone (the so called easy way according to the letter) to say I no longer wish the service. Today managed to get through after 12 long minutes being told my call mattered. Obviously not enough to get enough staff to answer phones. It was not a matter of time of day as I have tried at different times of day. Why not provide an email?

At my last eye test I kept complaining to the optician that the lenses she was using were not clean and smeared and also steaming up. She pressed on ahead irrespective as if I had said nothing. At the end she told me my sight had deteriorated by four stages and I had the early stage Cataracts asking if no one had told me prior (had diabetic screening at the same time)? I came away with a total lack of confidence in the tests and feeling shocker regarding the cataracts. My GP advised no reports of the tests have been sent to him for 2 years. This year I booked my eye screening through the hospital. Told them what Scrivens had said and they confirmed this was incorrect. Showed me the Scrivens image of last year which was really poor and offered this maybe why this was concluded? I’m looking for a new optician that doesn’t use floaters or locums with and experience practitioner in residence

Shocking customer service, 3 times have been told I don't need an appointment when I do finally get an appointment the audiologist was 30 minutes late, no apologies nothing,

I was charged double than others as I was told by myGP that I had been charged too much when I called them they were not listening

Most unhelpful about my father's eye care. He is 99 years old and wanted proof he was house bound after not leaving his flat for over 2 years.

After months and months of waiting for hearing aids wasn’t even told they were ready... my dad then picked them up and they weren’t even fitted right, had to wait again... then after that they fit my dad but settings not right far to loud and won’t turn down ... Dad went into scrivens and was told your not here for volume adjustment and then he was told “don’t care what you do with them”.... I am disgusted with how he has been treated the hearing aids are unwearable!!!!!! Poor customer service and will be going to head office

Absolutely shocking customer service. I've moved house a few months ago. Phone 2 or 3 times a week. Emails sent, message left on the Facebook page. Nothing, no response at all. Everytime you call. I give up after 10 or 15 mins. Your call is important to us, or so the recorded message says. Oh, you have to laugh at the absurdity of that statement!

After initial problems with an infection I had treatment and a swab taken by my GP. who confirmeb the ear was clear but took another swab to be sure. On the 2nd appointment the audiologist said the ear was infected. The result of the repeat swab again conformed that the ear was clear. The delays gerring appointmens and waiting for swab results meant tat it took 7 months from 1st appointment to receiving aids. The audiologist also said the "good" ear was also infected, an opinion proved by a swab by my GP. Y Your first request for feedback predated my receipt of the aids The cost of fuel plus parking was over £10 hense the negative feedback.

I took my mum aged 88 to have new hearing aids. To start with the audiologist was lovely but as the appointment went on the audiologist became quite short with us and then rude. She wore a mouth mask which made it very difficult for my mum to hear her. I am not sure why she didn't wear either a transparent one as working with deaf people or a full face! This all resulted in the appointment getting close to 45 minutes and she really just ushered us out in a rush and didn't explain how the new hearing aids worked fully. All very unprofessional and disorienting for such an elderly person. We wont be returning to see that audiologist again even though we are very keen to have the hearing aids adjusted. Now we cant get an appointment for a month just to have them adjusted. Very poor service.

Measured my eye sight wrong twice. I Asked for refund and wont let me have a refund. When i asked for speak to manager they also wont let me talk to them. This is at sheffield branch. Poor customer service

Why is your shop in Tewkesbury GL20 5JR always closed? I visited today, shop closed up. Sign on door saying closed Monday (yesterday) but no mention of it being closed Tuesday (today) I can't be the only customer to visit today and feel annoyed surely. Its very disappointing as I needed my new glasses adjusting as they are very uncomfortable on my nose, Gianni has already tried to adjust them twice. Appears the shop is struggling. Are Scrivens about to go bump?

My last dealings with Scrivens will be exactly that. Having paid over £600 for glasses, which turned out faulty, the replacement glasses, also faulty. I’m now waiting for yet another replacement.

BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER TWO YEARS PAID NEARLY £3000 FOR HEARING AIDS, CUSTOMER CARE HAS BEEN DIGRACEFULL OF LATE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 RECHARABLE BATTERIES FOR 7 WEEKS NOW HAVING PAID £60 FOR THEM.YOU RING AND HAVE TO LISTEN TO AWFULL MUSIC AND NO ONE ANSWERS SO GIVE UP.NEVER WILL GO BACK TO SCRIVENS

Genuine question, what has happened in your Tewkesbury shop? The new staff appear disinterested unless you are spending £££££'s as my wife found out! I was ignored for over 5 minutes when I entered the shop, granted they were serving others, however no eye contact, no offer of a seat, not even a smile - it is just rude. Atmosphere didn't feel friendly or warm anymore. After 5 minutes I walked out. Not missing much as my wife had her eye's tested there recently and the new manager smelled like he'd smoked 100 fags before serving her and called her the wrong name twice. She was to polite to say anything whilst there. You need to sort it out, it is a small town and people talk.
