“Can’t believe this place generally has good reviews. We’ve had nothing but problems with them. First return appointment the Specialist wasn’t aware of the booking and had gone home. Second we were double booked. Third time again booking taken by the ‘central’ booking service hadn’t reached the audiologist (is that the correct reference?). Seriously, don’t bother with this organisation - useless. They only get two stars because the actual aids are ok - nothing special but ok. Shame the follow up service is DREADFUL!”

“I visited Scrivens for the first time recently, I am now wearing the best spectacles I have had in a long time. I have various eye problems, very short sighted, Glaucoma in one eye, cataracts in both eyes, and Epiretinal of the Macular. Raj the optometrist is kind patient and thorough. and Tracy was very diligent in measuring my eyes to obtain the best spectacles possible for me. I am no stranger to Opticians I have been visiting them for 60 years, so very pleased I chose Scrivens in the lovely town of Stamford this time.”

“Had my annual eye test today, the optician that did the test was amazing, he was very professional and made the whole experience very pleasant. The ladies helped me choose a pair of glasses within 10 minutes they were fitted and I was out the door. Fantastic service.”

“The staff were very professional and explained everything as the consultation progressed. A great deal of care was taken in measuring me for my bi-focals and when they were collected the staff made sure that the fit was perfect. All in all a very good experience.”

“first pair of specs did not work just double vision hopefully sorting this problem out on the26feb at £400 a pair I hope so happy to up date you more later on”

“I have been a loyal customer for many years . I see a different optician and staff every time I go in to the lymington branch. The most recent debacle involved me being accused of not having bought my glasses that had broken from them. Then they ordered the wrong lenses. I am on the verge of changing opticians”

“I have been using Scrivens Opticians for the last 20 years for my eye tests and any updates required on my spectacles. I've found them to be thorough and professional in their testing of my eyes, friendly and helpful and would recommend them to anyone searching for a good Opticians.”
