Called the Hedge End Branch and spoke to Kelly . She organised an a appointment within a few hours . Got to the office , Sat with her and she explained a lot of things to do with hearing aids . All the staff in there are so helpful and professinal . Kelly explained a lot of other things ,wax removal and tech stuff that I can use my phone to control volume of my hearing aids. Thank you all at the Hedge End Branch

Ref 75/00334902 10.30am Very dissatisfied with service I received from your sutton in ashfield branch,as requested I arrived 15 minutes earlier than appointment to be told that my appointment was given to another lady and I would have to wait for approximately 3/4 of a hour as I had booked my taxi to pick-up at 11.30 to reach a doctors appointment at 12 noon so I could not wait,so no eye test and £17.00 out of pocket,this is not acceptable in my opinion look forward to your reply customer for over 30 years and this is how you treat them

I visited Scrivens at Fishponds in Bristol. I obtained my new hearing aids. The staff were fantastic. The lady optician was very thorough and professional. The young male assistant took various details before my eye test and after examination showed me how to put the app on my phone. I found the service friendly and will definitely recommend. Popped into Scrivens on Hagley Road West with my 92 year old Mother who was looking for some new frames. The staff were so helpful and patient and after visiting many other opticians we were finally successful. I would thoroughly recommend Scrivens. This is my local opticians and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I've had my hearing aids for some time now . From the time I went to the Rugeley branch I've had exceptional service. I have been back to have my ears checked recently and was told they were clear. Being a little elderly , my wax doesn't clear naturally because it is more firm ; so I had been buying their olive oil spray ( which was less expensive than from Amazon!) and using it nightly . I'm writing this today because they were instrumental in recovery of my hearing to the point where, this week, as I was watching the swifts wheeling above me, I heard their cry. For the first time in my life .

As an NHS patient I find great difficulty in contacting the shop in Havant. Their phone rings continuously but though it is not “engaged”no one ever answers it. I think the whole issue needs investigation as they don’t seem too busy when you finally do get there. JB Unhappy customer.

Local business with great service. I had booked in for my bi-annual eye examination. The optician was professional, using a modern testing equipment (which means no more uncomfortable puff-test for glaucoma) and ultimately resulted in a minor adjustment to my prescription. The resltd were clearly explained to me. I was happy with my previous frames, but wanted them reglazed with the new prescription. I was given plenty of options and the staff couldn't have been friendly. Top service!

Visited the Havant branch for hearing test and provision of new hearing aids. Member of staff, Esther, was excellent. Efficient, helful, and friendly. She explained everything clearly.

Had my existing glasses changed and I couldn’t see as well. Had another eye test and the my agreed to change the lenses back to the original prescription. When I asked for a refund they were going to take the lenses out and give me my old frames back with no lenses, and felt this was acceptable, even though it appears I didn’t need new lenses and my glasses were fine to start with!! Terrible customer service

On both occasions when I have visited your Penzance branch, I have received exemplary treatment, not least from originally engaging with reception to make an appointment, but indeed throughout the entire clinical process. that is, from undergoing eye test to selection of spectacles. Janet's eye tests are most thorough, her demeanour is so utterly calm and reassuring thereby encouraging utmost confidence in the service received. Mark has helped in my selection of sun glasses and spectacles in the most caring, personal way so that, not only am I thrilled with the outcome, I have since received genuine compliments from friends concerning their enhancement of me. How about that for a confidence boost to an elderly woman. Added to all this,because he knew I would be holidaying on the Isles of Scilly for several weeks, Mark posted my chosen spectacles. They arrived yesterday. Wow! and Wow! Thank you Janet, Mark and all the team at Penzance for treatment second to none. Customer champions you undoubtedly are, I value you all highly & shall continue to recommend you to my friends and acquaintances. Visited the Ely shop today what lovely ladies my sunglasses were falling of my face and they tighten them and made them fit. No charge. Very lovely staff Thankyou.x

Having been to the Wolstanton branch of Scrivens on a number of occasions with a relative of mine to see an optician and audiologist I have nothing but praise for the service you receive. Julie and the young lady who works alongside her are not only knowledgeable and friendly but show customer understanding and go out of their way to be helpful.

The experience from arriving to leaving was amazing. The initial assessment, the test and selection of frames had a personal touch which is so important especially when you need a second opinion on whether or not frame shape and colour is suitable. I can't praise them highly enough the optician, branch manager and team are a credit to the business and I will certainly be returning.

In store service good. After sale and repair awful .without hearing aid for two weeks all to be told sent back to manufacturer to be repaired. Would not recommend them as spent a lot of money buying them and entering in to maintenance contract. Don’t feel looked after at all.

Visiting Weymouth for the week and a small screw fell out of the lens holder and lens fell out of my sunglasses. Popped in to see if they could repair them and was very happy when the young lady(sorry didn't get her name), came across and took them off me to work her magic. Even gave them a good clean (by the gentleman, sorry didn't get his name) Very happy with the service I got and not have to worry about waiting until I got home tomorrow in this very warm and sunny week.

My experience of Scrivens Hearing Care over the last 17 months has been extremely positive. I have had several hearing issues during this time and the standard of care provided by their audiologist at Herne Bay and by their Customer Care Team has been faultless. I have nothing but praise for them.

Appalling service from Scrivens who have taken over from CHIME Audiology in Devon, an NHS service. Wrong size tubes fitted on first occasion and now the aids fall apart, audiologist didn't turn up on second occasion and no message left on my phone to let me know she was sick, and now another 5 weeks wait for an appointment to repair the faulty aids I have been left with. Very disappointed.
