“I attended Yarm Medical Centre on 14/01/21 for a hearing assessment which was carried out by Ms J Bennett. This turned out to be a very professional review by a friendly, knowledgeable Audiologist that put me at ease and explained every step of the process as it was undertaken. A highly recommended organisation. Many thanks. Jim Maloney.”

“My hearing aids have changed my life. They have reduced the amount of tinnitus I experience now which was getting me down. The help to get my hearing aids was a good experience as the person doing the testing was very patient and polite at all times.”

“I have moved here from having been a Boots customer for years. James and his staff here could not be more patient. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble. You may pay a little more here than other places but you get a cery professional personal assessment of your situation. I can't recommend this store highly enough. And very Covid Aware. Well done all.”

“Very helpful and knowledgeable staff in the Blandford store. I never felt rushed into making decisions about which glasses I wanted to choose, and despite them having to clean/sterilise every pair I tried on that did not seem to be any trouble for them. I felt the store was very Covid safe. The optician explained everything, and how and why my prescription had changed. They told me my glasses would be here by 16th January, and they arrived 3 days earlier than that. Excellent. Thanks. Recommend.”

“The friendly, very capable staff in my local branch were more than happy to make repairs to 2 pairs of glasses which had broken over the xmas period. Thank you for being open and not turning me away!”

“Lovely local opticians, polite and helpful staff and professional optician. I am giving you a 'good' because your equipment for eye testing is dated compared with Specsavers which seemed so hi tech. The range of spectacles was very good and of high quality. Would I continue to use Scrivens, Yes!”

“I had a sight test today after Cataract surgery. I suffer from double vision and it took a long while for the very kind and patient gentleman to sort it out. I know have new glasses on order with the help of the lady assistant. They are always helpful and polite. Very grateful they were open during this pandemic. Thank you.”

“I went to check my eyes while ago. Doctor find the best glasses for me, problem was I couldn't see properly through them! Picture was not clear. He told me that me eyes have to adjust and he knows what he is talking about. Then they tried to make me pay over £200 for frames. I left, went to different options and like I thought the optician from scrivens was wrong!”

“The staff were very friendly and efficient, hygiene was very good even wiping the pen I had to use. The only thing I would say there wasn't a great choice of glasses but I guess that could be due to Covid as they have to quarantine them for a while once you have touched them. I am happy with the glasses I did purchase.”

“A joy to visit!! Staff are friendly & professional. They allow you to decide how much you you wish to spend, no over selling. They allow you lots of time to decide on the right frames, I never feel they are rushing me to make a decision. And orders arrive back in the shop quickly.”

“The service that I receive in the Palmers Green branch is simply the best. The glasses I received took me a little while to get used to because they are so much better than the old ones now are, my eyes having changed quite a lot over sixteen months. I received great service when I collected them from the branch.”
