“This is the second Pod Point charger I’ve had installed. First was in 2018 and then in Nov 2023. The technology has moved on quite a bit since then and the Solo charger is more aesthetically pleasing. The ordering process was slick, including the pre-installation self-service survey. Quite a lot of information and photos needed but it wasn’t complicated to obtain. The engineer turned up and installed the charger on the arranged day despite storm Ciaran. Very well installed and the engineer was friendly and efficient. The only minor grumble is that I didn’t get an ETA from the engineer on the morning of the install as promised but no major issue.”

“Really impressed with my experience of Pod Point so far. The order process was very simple and the home survey was (relatively) easy to complete and submit - the form does say you will need your MPAN number, but then never asks for it so I just added it in the final optional notes Installation was straightforward with a very friendly installer who kept me updated with the progress as he went. Everything was completed and installed in just over 3 hours from start to finish, only about 40 minutes with no power while he connected the Solo3 to the meter. Very neat and tidy installation and he cleaned up after himself even though all the work was outside anyway! In all, only 9 days from the order placed to installation completion and my car happily charging - at this point, absolutely no complaints whatsoever.”
